What happened when Moussa no longer played?

What relevance does Moussa have? You asked a question about the later part of the season. Wilson scored 7 in 14. I haven't mentioned Moussa.

I'm not sure. Probably.

I do see Grendel's point, he could have been restricted in this poor squad this season, and therefore not hit form.

However, a 1 in 2 ratio in the last 14 games when we had nothing to play for, and he'd been injured for 3 months, disproves Grendel's post Clarke point.

You would have to ask that was the squad that we had at the end of last season (Wilson aside) any better than the squad we've had this season? Also I think Wilson would have given the squad a lift this season.

No I'm not - it's you who lazily trotted out a stat without checking facts.

Once moussa vanished as you yourself admitted his form nosedived - one goal in 720 minutes.

Now you may argue the likes of Connor Thomas Jack finch and Adam Barton would have provided more assists than Moussa. I assume that is what you are argiung

I watch them 5 or 6 times this season and Wilson was always creating space or opportunities for others,, he is very clever off the ball, pulls defenders every where.. He needs to improve on his first touch but playing up top on his own, that will get better..They were by far the best side in the championship to watch and the style suited Wilson's attributes..

They do deserve lots of credit to bringing him in knowing he would fit into all they were doing on the field, he brings more than just goals..

Assumption is all you have. You're trying to use the exact point I was making against the point I was making. You seemed to have forgotten all about Moussa's disappearing act before I brought it up so don't be talking to me about stats. He would have scored goals this season and you're too pig headed to admit it because you'd have to admit it was bad business by SISU to let him go at the price they let him go for and we all know you have difficulty in criticising SISU. Still SW got to say we're cash flow positive because of it so you're happy because you can try and peddle that as SISU success.

Maybe SISU should offer a Sky Blue Bond?

Be able to keep Maddison, give Joy a few Bob, Bond holders get a nice bit of interest, everybody's happy.

Maybe 1 of TM demands is holding onto maddison add more quality and have a real go... Other than that carry on selling the quality bringing in shit and selling fans on a bullshit script and blaming everyone else apart from themselves, while going backwards..

The money will just be used to buy Joy a new handbag. It'll be squirrelled off to theCayman Islands in about half a second.

I'm not sure that even 100% interest is enough to make investing in this bond a reasonable idea. There are no assets, the club already pretty much insolvent the only reason we haven't gone bust is that the investors took seemingly worthless shares instead of insisting on their money back, bond holders wouldn't do that. I personally thought the wasps bond was too risky for only 6.5% interest but the bond you are jokingly suggesting would be an order of magnitude worse at least. No right minded investor would touch it with a bargepole.

Yet so many players have raw talent, and aren't picked up immediately, eg Ali, only went this season

We could have a punt at promotion through the league's to the top flight with the money raised, big money then.

Surely a bond such as this would be oversubscribed?

Most seem to want us to have a go, this would be a good way to put your money where your mouth is, make it minimum £1-2000 and soon reach the target.

I know you are trying to be funny and make a point but it's such a misinformed attempt at it.

Bond holders don't really benefit much from dramatic improvements in a companys fortunes, anyone investing in super high risk investment like you are proposing would need to be purchasing equity. No one would invest in a ccfc bond issue as things stand, it would be foolish beyond all belief, the company is worth significantly less than nothing.

Even if you were buying a share in the football club and you did believe that chucking a big chunk of money at it was a good idea you'd be an idiot to do so while the club is being run by sisu.

He wasn't trying to say it was a great idea, we don't you need to explain in detail why it nobody would invest CCFC because it is obvious. As you said it was a joke, not to be taken seriously as you have with your response.

£1-2000 is quite a big range.

Secure it against Ryton, have part of it for refurbishing the Bull and Butcher which would then be funded by the players going in there for steak and chips every lunchtime, more profit to the club as a result... before you know it We Are Premier League.

They would make more pie money at the Bull and Butcher to be honest.
Oh and that went bust.

So we could re-employ Thorne, set up a CCFC bouncing subsidiary, and scare them off by his mere size.

Then he too could devour the pies on offer within the pub.

Win-win-win and even more moolah to the club!

He could also ask Wilson the way to be sold so CCFC benefits and be crap. As we all know that Wilson wasn't good enough and would be worthless if he would have stayed with us.

If CCFC were to benefit from player sales I would be a bit happier for our talented young players to be sold as it would benefit our clubs future. But unless things drastically change they won't. And the bigger piss take is where some of our supporters have ready made excuses ready for SISU.

If it was a joke haha type joke I wouldn't have responded in that way, but it's a snide dig at supporters and a sisu defence all dressed up as a sarcy joke and so the response was justified. If you are going to be an ass in that way what you are saying at least has to make sense but it didn't.

Sounds like our owners they came in robbed everyone of their shares.
Then fucked off everyone and blame anyone they can but at least we have a new ground and all the pie money to look forward too.

Are you just not meant to mention players once they go then? Is that how it works? Nothing existed before a minute ago, that sort of thing?

It depends what mention is classed as? Whether it is posting every time they have a shit or not.

Summerisles post was an ironic joke, and it was funny, and it made sense, except to the super serious like you.

I think you will find that Summerisle was one of the lone voices against the arrival of SISU whilst people like you were welcoming them as saviours on their arrival, so stressing his post as a SISU defence means really that you are the poor joker.

can they be lone voices if there is more than one??

Let's be honest, the huge majority of CCFC fans were welcoming them as saviours when they first arrived, probably you too.

Well, that I could do without! But I think, say in the case of Wilson, he's had an unbelievable season. It's kind of normal that a lot of fans are proud of his achievement. I don't begrudge anyone talking about that sort of thing.

His joke made sense in that it was obvious what he was getting at, a defence of sisus failure to invest in the squad while making a dig at the fans saying they wouldn't put their money where there mouth is. In didn't make sense in every other way though, the most important being if the fans did invest in the way he suggested and it paid off and we got to the premiership, the fan would not have been rewarded for their risk, the fans would be taking the financial risk and sisu would receive the financial reward.

Since I wasn't a member of this forum then you have no idea about my views on sisus arrival but even if you were right the reasonable right minded person changes there opinions with new evidence, I've said this dozens of times on this forum but it's worth repeating, there are many people here and it seems you amongst them with that misguided comment that believe sticking to your guns is some sort of virtue, it's not, sticking to your guns when evidence changes makes you unreasonable and makes you an idiot (admittedly it's something most of the world struggles with including me, we all like to be right) you could have thrown a street party when sisu arrived and it wouldn't make your view that they are destroying the club any less valid. Being happy when we were saved from administration and unhappy when the club is ruined are both very sensible and reasonable positions even if as it turned out that we'd likely have been alot better off if administration had happened.

Your entire post but especially the second sentence is just a strawman.
