Their owner is currently having a successful time with teams he owns/part owns. Lyon relegated, selling his share in Palace so they can get in Europa League (although Lyon's relegation may see them kicked out) & changing name of Belgian side RWDM to Daring Brussels and in so upsetting fans & stadium owners threatening to kick them out of the stadium.
