Confirmed by United. No prizes for guessing what their next announcement will be.

Will be very interesting to see how Jose does there.

Don't think LVG was ever right for United, but Jośe is quite possibly the dumbest replacement I can think of. He'll do nothing for the talented youngsters and want to spend loads to do anything while making everything about him.

Lack of class by Utd over the way they've handled the whole situation.

Difficult situation for United, obviously wanted Mourinho and didnt want to wait till the summer to have him signed up and risk losing him.

They were put in a dificult situation by Jose's agent suggesting PSG were interrested.

If they'd signed it a couple of months ago and released that he would be replaced at the end of the season, as City did, they would probably have seen a dip in form and a team that couldnt be ar$sed playing for a manager that wont be there next year, as City did.

Not sure how they have lacked class in this situation?

I do find it rather ironic though that over the years of Chelsea/Liveprool/City chopping and changing managers along with the rest of the footballing pyramid, you had ex players, namely the Neville brothers and Scholes coming out with "United aren't a sacking club" whilst Fergie was there, they have now sacked 2 managers in what 3 years? And hired a manager who has a shelf life of 2-3.

So what they want is instant success and that success to be consistant for the next 20 years, wouldnt that be nice if you could find a manager to do that.

Well, Sky have said it's done. Jośe is the new manager.

Well done Utd. You've reached a new low.
