It’s why I was keen for a while on Sam Surridge. Bit of an arrogant dickhead who thinks he’s better than he is, but you need a bit of that.
We don't know much about his mentality apart from what we perceive from watching him - a placid gentle giant. I hope behind the scenes the coaching staff are telling him he needs to find the aggression or he won't be here much longer.

9/10 of those players are available. We could put a better version out now as Grimes/Sheaf/Wright all come in
Said before if the money was there I’d want: GK, CB x 2, RB, LB, CM x 2, RW, ST most of that is replacing squad players.
But whether we’ve got the cash for a noticeable upgrade on the likes of Lati, Eccles, BTA, etc is a fair question.
Something like that assuming the outs are as rumoured.
I’ve got a feeling Allen may end up leaving because you’d have thought he’d sign an extension by now if he was planning on staying. Kai Andrews may be one to watch because it sounds like he’s doing well in Scotland so maybe he’ll have a part to play as a role player. So we may only need to replace Eccles because I don’t believe Sheaf will leave.
Personally, the recruitment in the forward areas depends on whether or not Lampard thinks Simms can be a number 1 striker. Right now, I think he sees Wright as the main striker and a 3 of Wright, Simms and Bassette strikes a decent balance to me. In that scenario, you’d need 2 wingers imo. However, if Lampard plans to play Wright LW, then you’d need a ST and a winger to complement the squad.
