Pathetic. Mowbray out. Going down. SISU bastards.

Am I doing it right?

Not sure what our formation has been today, but even more so now the twins are on.

Dion has come on with Haynes moving in front of him (having been LB for the rest of the game) and Devon has come on in front of Phillips (although I thought he was a RB? Possibly wing back?)

Devon can play anywhere in midfield and both fullback positions I believe which makes him quite handy and probably why he is at RM, whereas Dion is just a LB

Has a be of pace about him which is handy. Looks like he could be a handful on the wing despite being 4 foot tall

Haven't seen much of Dion though

Be nice to get a win, just to build confidence.....

Not essential though.

Second half sounded bit more exciting than the first. Would be good to get a win at some point but no need to panic as it's only preseason!

How did Cook look? Better than Burge? Can't be much between the two.

Cooke looks a bit more composed, but when he's not getting tested much it's hard to judge.

Wouldn't be surprised if he saw more competitive games this season though, whether that be cup or league.

Really hope he does well this season.

I think you misheard.

I thought he said it doesn't matter if they come in tomorrow or after 2 games, there's 44 games left to play if they miss 2 games.

I may have misheard though

I hope it is what he's said, just can't see it anywhere else (not on Twitter - telegraph, Andy Turner, CWR etc) but we do need someone desperately

Yeah I think they both have a bit of pace, but are very small, will be interesting to see how they both develop. Especially in league one. Would not like them both at full back in the same game tho!

Me neither. Put a big man on them, like Nuneaton and they'll lose everything. But think their pace could offer us something if Dions is similar to Devons

Mogga's thoughts
Mowbray has said he's not overally disappointed to conceded a late equaliser saying it was a good test for the Sky Blues.
He's just confirmed there could be a new striker coming into the club tomorrow. More to follow.

Hopefully it's an exciting/decent striker seems odd to go in on a sunday though?

We're aware of the lack of striking options and we hope to add at least one over the next few days and maybe one or two more later next week.
We want to get the right players in and I'd rather wait for the right ones rather than panic and get a team you're not happy with.
If it means starting the season with a few elements missing then fine. We've got to get it right for the entire season.

7-1 win today! Oh, I'm sorry. Did I forget to mention that was my local team, Newport against Worthing? Pre-season friendly! Great game! :claping hands:

Unless they do a recovery session tomorrow?

So TM can meet the player as they will be there? Depends if sunday is the teams day off?

It'll most probably be a loan which he was told no first time around but is now available?

Can't see it being a perm signing because surely they take longer than a day to conclude

yeah agree, possibly off a team that has just got back from a tour, like Liverpool maybe? I'm just guessing ofc.

no I think deals can be concluded in a few hours just they drag it out for a few days to get as much money as possible. We shall see shan't we.
