Re: a better alternative. There probably is, and it’s more than likely they’re playing high end champ or prem! What’s great about Thomas’s game is how he’s not scared to put a foot in and defend. His work rate is phenomenal.

So many midfielders would change back and just take the man and concede a foul in some of the positions he’s found himself this season, but he’s kept his cool, stayed on his feet and a lot of the time won back possession
