Not sure it's gone away sadly. Away at Millwall last season sat next to a big group of wasted lads in their late 20s and it really surprised me with the level of vitriol they hurled at several cov players in first half when it was 0-0. Soon went quiet 2nd half.Interesting chat. 2 things for me, 1, u think of cov as a top team that had a bad few years. People of playing age think of them as a bad club improving and surprised. Second, the difference the fans can make to their enjoyment. I grew up going to games where old men seemed to live for shouting at Paul telfer how crap he was. That was just depressing all round, so glad those says are mostly long gone!
