think that is our lowest ever position in the football league, just to add a bit of perspective for those celebrating on the pitch.

Not quite! Final position 74th this season. We effectively finished 76th (1926) 74th (1927) 82nd (1928) 76th (1957) and 84th (1958) when the 3rd division was split between North and South. Lowest for 60 years though, so not worthy of a pitch invasion!

That's a result of last season's failure not this season's (relative) success (thus far).
