We've now lost two consecutive games to fleetwood. The first when they were managed by the man sacked to make way for TM, the second now they are managed by the candidate that TM was preferred to on appointment.

4 of the 4 UK county managers have ccfc connections. Coleman, Strachan, O'neil, Alladyce.

Clubs rotten, there is absolutely no pressure for manager or player to succeed at CCFC. No expectation.

Sad but true.

This notion of a toxic club is crap. Pressley Coleman Mowbray and thorn all exceeded the average management survival time as a league manager. They were longer serving than most. We are not any different to other clubs in that respect.

What percentage of club managers are actually successful?

And that has always been the risk which those who continuously shout SISU out have never understood.
I'm not supporting SISU, just being realistic

Quite simply though...for whatever reason none have been able to take us forwards have they? So something is toxic!

In fairness Guardiola would have not likely faired any better than Coleman - would he be given plaudits? Or the same 'coat-tails' tag?

How many ex managers have gone on to be really good at other clubs?

Maybe a more telling question Nick is how many of them were successful before they came to us? Off the top of my head, Reid promoted in Championship with Sunderland, Dowie promoted in Championship with Palace and TM promoted in Championship with West Brom. What is it at Cov that brings the kiss of death to them all?

Just think of his pre tournament/match talks //// "Lets go out and do it for Gary" most men with an ounce of passion in them would hopefully go and run their bollocks off for that plus the fact they had one of the best players currently in the world playing for them and Ramsey is a pretty useful player too... Even Woy done ok with Switzerland but was utter shite at most clubs he went to then the interfering wankers at FA headquarters who know feck all about football go and employ the useless c**t....
Maybe if someone behind the scenes at Cov City had an ounce of nous about football were to appoint a manager we may do a little better than our current 30 odd year position is

Clearly there is a lot further to fall yet.

I would have more confidence if The club's owners came out and said - we are going to develop a young squad over several seasons - and stuck to it. You can't do that will a load of loanees and short term fixes. I'm not sure what the plan is - apart from making the club 'self sufficient'.

Presumably that means we eventually find a level we can be self sufficient at ie sufficient number of fans still turn up while the budget is as low as possible.

It is a downward spiral, lower budget, smaller crowds, reduced budget, less success... etc.
The owners are not in this business for football, sport is an inconvienience to them.
