We're still waiting for Tuesday's bin collection which according to the council took place on Wednesday and then again on Thursday:
"Our bin crews are out and collecting scheduled Thursday collections as well as catching up on missed collections from yesterday and Tuesday"

They've yet to empty the communal bins in Spon End which are a different day to wheelie bins.Our Thursday collection happened yesterday, which made up for them still not collecting the green bin (which is now full) last Thursday when there was no reason to not collect!

Apparently there was virtually no gritting done as the met office sent out a forecast saying it wouldn't be needed.Depends if they had people out gritting.
