Article in cov telegraph saying of the 19 home games this season 42 thousand fans have come through the turnstiles this season, to put this in to perspective say if at the Ricoh we average 11k over 19 games 209,000k fans would of come through the turnstiles that's 5 times the amount at shitfeilds! And I think thats being genourous given the great early season form we were in in scoreing for fun playing exciteing football the average figure could be as high as 13-14k either way thats a unreal loss for any club to make let alone a leauge one club already saddled with debt. But wait I forgot about the pie sales.......

i think someone worked out on here that the F & B revenue at the ricoh was worth about £ 27K a season, we left because we wasn't getting this apparently. How many pies do they need to sell at sixfields to claw back the lost revenue from ticket sales? it just don't add up, unless its not about matchday revenue :thinking about:

I don't think f&b was the reason they left. It was one of the things they wanted but the reason they left as far as I can tell is they couldn't or didn't want to work with ACL and the council any more.

I think it's well established that it's not about money in the short term. Sisu are prepared to pay the price.

It's not about football either. But let me ignore that and do a totally different calculation:
This year we have played 19 games at Sixfields. 9 wins - 6 draws - 4 losses. We have gained 33 points equal to 1.74 point per game.
Last year the total home league result was 7 wins - 7 draws and 9 losses. We made a total of 28 points equal to 1.22 point per game.
If we had only managed 1.22 point per game this season we would have made 23 points - 10 points less than we actually have. We would be bottom of the league.
You can also state that playing at Sixfields have made up the points penalty for not playing at the Ricoh.

The numbers are correct (according to my abacus), but that way of wrapping arguments around numbers is just misdirection - or spin.

Joy is a Christian, she can and has to forgive them. its a big part of Christianity, indeed isn't that a quote from Jesus himself while on the cross. Unless she was misquoted. Perhaps its Jesus who was misquoted?

so an extra 167,000 x £10 (rough price of ticket at Ricoh) = £1.67 million

So, even if we did pay the £1.2 million rent, we would still be better off a the Ricoh this season (not that i am suggesting we should be paying £1.2 million rent)

We can generate all the calculations we want, but need to recognise that City not being at the RICOH this season has nothing to do with the clubs need to generate cash. We are not there because SISU wanted to break ACL and the Council. They may have done that, who knows, but forget short term cash flow, this was about getting the RICOH for very little.

That is still their intention, and the JR and the battle with Higgs is all focussed on this strategy.

you've convinced me, fuck it lets stay at sixfields indefinately. clearly that would be in the best interest of the long term future for the club.

Not sure her being a Christian has anything to do with business decisions she makes. This one more likely stemmed from Fisher I expect anyway.

Pretty sure he was just using that to show how pointless any of these calculations are.

Don't worry yourself, the FL will never get that from Shitzu.
