In business you have to try and preempt your competitors next move to position yourself either to counter that move or to ensure you are able to get the best deal possible.
So SISU can see they are completely cornered on this one;
1. 6 year history of maladministration and failure (it is irrelevant that mistakes were made in the past SISU have had 6 years to fix them)
2. Mismanagement of customer and supporter relationship, without fan support they cannot take the club forwards.
3. Many of us would dispute the declared debt (well most things that come from Fisher and Joy actually), but in fact the football club have been running at a loss during SISU's tenure (mainly due to their mismanagement) so they have actually lost millions.
Whatever Dim Tim tries to tell us SISU will be desperate to get away from CCFC because it is a continual drain on their resources with no short term fix, even with the new fantasy stadium, in fact that will probably make it even worse.
This is where SISU have had to concoct a forward plan (however flawed it may be) to generate the illusion that they intend to stay and fight. Nobody in business is so incompetent to not check which part of their own business they are putting into administration, so could this have been deliberate to entice bids? By doing this SISU have continued to create this illusion of being financially strong and with a will to carry out their crazy master plan, the forums are all part of this smoke and mirrors.
So what are the options now?
1. SISU's bid for Ltd is accepted. I don't think this is their preferred result.
2. PH4 wins the bid for Ltd. This would be a disaster for SISU who would have to stand and fight to get anything out of the situation. Could drag our club down even further.
3. The Byng consortium wins the bid for Ltd and commences negotiations with SISU for Holdings, giving SISU their best chance of an exit plan where they would reduce their losses. On the basis that the SISU appointed administrator said in his announcement that any purchaser of Ltd would have to agree a deal with SISU, the plot thickens.
There may be other bids / options that are not public and I may have read this completely wrong, or more likely this mess will get even muddier before it gets resolved.
