Well Godiva you're assuming a hell of a lot there, including that the council were complicit with the plan to distress ACL. We don't know that as fact we only have Tim saying that they were and as I said before, he has yet to produce the evidence. It could be that the council just decided that SISU were people they couldn't do business with assuming that Tim is correct.

You have on many occasions posted facts and the evidence has been a quote from PWKH. How is that more reliable?

ACL would continue to own the lease. ACL would be owned 50% by ccc and 50% by the club.

So here's the scenario: sisu buy out the mortgage (and discharge it) from Yorkshire Bank at distressed value - say £5m. They then buy the Higgs shares at their asking price - say £8m. Then finally the lease is extended from 42 years to 125 years.
Ask your daughter if that would all-in-all increase the share value of ACL - that is ccc's 50% as well as the clubs 50%.

Has anybody ever mentioned £8M ever except yourself.. the figure I heard was £6M.

So that's another thing you made up is it not? If not please give us your reference.

Yes and no - PWKH mentioned how the 'secret' formular is constructed. The base number is what they initially invested and then there's addons. You may browse his posts - I think it was an answer to Wingy half a year ago or maybe more.
Anyway my conclusion was the price was around £8m.

It definetely more than the £6m you mentioned as that is less than the base number. There were some suggesting the price would be around £10m, but that is OTT.
Anyway - £6m as you mentioned or £8m ... why is it important?

As I said at the start of this thread
James Smith said:
But a lot of this (highlighted in red) is just what Tim & PWKH said and they haven't backed any of this up yet. Tim claims to have signed copies of this and that which he hasn't produced possibly due to the judicial review. Until they prove otherwise a lot of this is just what Tim and Higgs/PWKH have claimed nothing more.
So neither side have actually backed up any of these claims. However should Tim have everything that he claims to have then that alters things a hell of a lot and why I want this over and done with so we can go back to not enjoying the football.

I only quote PWKH because he posts on here and is therefore easy to find quotes from. He has also explained a hell of a lot more than Tim/CCFC/SISU have ever done. Also unlike Tim he hasn't told us anything that has later proved to be inaccurate - to the best of my knowledge anyway.

So you actually think Tim Fisher is the best CEO / MD or whatever he calls himself that this club has had in twenty years?

Never said that to the best of my knowledge.

Ooh and just a thought if PH4 appeared on the scene maybe the council saw someone willing to pay more for ACL and decided the amount that SISU were offering wasn't nearly enough. Was just about to post "Go for it PH4" in the Trust meeting thread after reading that if Ltd is liquidated then anyone can buy ACL

Sorry to join in at this point, but either I have misread Smithers post (sorry - didn't know how to address you), or you have Grendel. Or........I've not understood your point, mate (which is probably more my fault than yours!!)

James is suggesting PWKH opinions and contributions are a reliable source. In June last year PWKH expressed the view, on here, that the board of CCFC headed by Tim fisher was the best he had dealt with in twenty years of association with the club.

So James liked to quote PWKH as a source so I assume he supports that view.

Well no, it would suggest he supports the view that this is PWKH's view. Fact vs opinion.

We face the very real prospect of losing the right to use the Higgs centre and with that a downgrading of our academy status.

This is a major crime to our club, more reasons to do anything to get rid of SISU.
Just having a school of Excellence is not good enough and we will not get an Academy stature back once its gone.

Got to say that concerns me more than most of the other stuff going on. Especially for clubs in predicaments like ours a strong academy is just vital-unless there is a big U turn on the club's part soon we could well compromise this.

If SISU have all this money to buy half businesses and shares and bricks & Mortar and build a new ground etc etc how about instead, putting all that money into the TEAM!

FFP would stop that-however no reason why it couldn't go into the academy which is the last good thing we've got left.

Alternatively, there's the ACL option of putting all our money into hotels.

Where is all this income? Please advise where all the income SISU have 'stolen' has come from.

Can you steal whilst funding an operating deficit every year?

Well documented on takeover that CCFC were one of only three football league teams who are debt free....the "Debt" supposedly being offset against property.

The recent operating deficit isn't available in any published accounts, the last ones only cover the period up to 31/05/2011.

There is no clarity about the figures for the last 2 years and that period has included some major cost cutting.

I am not sure costs have been cut to the same level as the drop in income in the past 12 months or so.

I think the transfer receipts cover any losses more than adequately, Bigi & Keogh both went for significant fees & no fees have been spent on players moving into the club.

Might have gone on securing Category 2 status for the academy. Since we don't feel like using the Higgs centre anymore and have no back up I guess this is no longer relevant.
