Anyone else getting a tube tomorrow for the game? I’m a bit worried about coronavirus if I’m honest but I’m still gonna go, just wondered what everyone else thought of the risks of the spread on London undergrounds.

More chance of catching chlamidya on a tube than a glorified cold, chill your beans you'll be sweet

You'll be fine. I have a number of friends who get the tubes night and day as they live and work in the city and they're still breathing. There's no need to be worried.

Why are you worried only about the tube when you will be presumably going on a train at some point towards Southend. Then you may be in a crowded pub for a while before heading into a crowded away fans end that will undoubtedly house some CCFC fans who live in London...
Start worrying when it spreads significantly through the UK.
If you're thinking I'm being flippant, I'll just say that I have diabetes and heart trouble so fall into the group that needs to be particularly careful. However, I have a friends dog staying for a month and cant leave him in my house for 7 or 8 hours unattended.

Spent most of this week on the tube, and I'm still alive.

Got more chance of encountering a maniac who pushes you in front of a train or stabs you while you're on it. Stop worrying.

Best bet is keep your hands in your pockets and not touch any surfaces. Failing that, if you do touch them, don’t rub your eyes or put your hands in your mouth. In other words, the normal things you do if you try to avoid picking up a cold. Can’t believe I even took the time to write this.

Many people keep forgetting that this “virus” isn’t airborne. Of course most people pick up these germs because they’re dirty bastards who don’t wash their hands!

You’ll barely be on the tube anyway, less than 5 mins.
At Euston get on the Northern line for 5 stops to bank then it’s a couple of mins walk to Fenchurch Street to catch the overground to Southend.

Hold your breathe -

seriously use antiseptic gel repeatedly and as above keep your hands away from your mouth - you should be ok

I was circumcised when I was 32. I too felt the need to share. It was okay until during the night when I got an erection and the stitches broke and it look like a turkey giblet.

You may also contract flu. 0.5% chance of dying if you do. Coronavirus is 2% of popping your clogs....if you get it but you have to be Chinese. Their new year will never be the same.
