Just watched the last 10mins. He was dictating play high up the field and making runs in behind.

Positive review on Hibs forum, too. To be fair, it's only the SPL

Watched the whole game with Kai. Rushed into his debut because of injury but fans were clapping him especially in the last 25 minutes because of his class. Didn't rush and looked composed on the ball. Made a few long crossfield passes and slotted in reallly well. Hibs have 4 or 5 loanees and they came on for the last 30 minutes but Kai looked a step up mainly because he looks fit and can last the 80 minutes on the field, that's because he has been training with the first team. Six months up in scotland will do him the world of good and this match is possibly one of more difficult. In a few years time given the right exposure he cild be as affective as Grimes.

Eventful night for Kai.

Came off the bench 1-0 up and then Hibs went down to 2-1 up until the 89th minute before they scored a 93rd minute winner.

Big Edinburgh derby next week, hopefully he gets some more minutes.

Is Perry still only on a one month loan deal or have they extended it till end of season? He's doing really well there and would be great for him to have that continuation and a possible promotion medal under his belt.

Just a 28 day youth loan but I hope they will extend it, winning a promotion with Dale would be such great experience for him

It's a ridiculous loan for them. From the very minimum I've seen of him he could be on a league 1 loan right now easy.

Great for him, says he's learning, he'll get a title the way it's going.

In other news, Dausch has joined Scunthorpe on a season long loan. Got 30 mins on Saturday.

I'm fully expecting Isaac Moore to go back out soon and you'd imagine Luke Bell will as well

Good move for Dausch. Moore needs a really decent loan so we can see if he's really as good as we hope he is.

Hopefully Perry's got it in him to step up. Would really be handy to have a home grown talent able to fill a position we are struggling with.

My son works for Rochdale. He keeps telling me how well he is doing. He says we should have kept him and played him at left back.

He's not ready for our level yet. Rochdale are doing well and so is he but it's a non league level.

Non-league for a guy of Perrys age is perfect. Rather than be wrapped in cotten wool in the U'21, he's up against men fighting for a wage to pay their mortgage, make ends meet.

Have always said, academy is great till you get to 17/18, then you need to play men's football! Learn how physical men are, ride tackles, know when to pass the ball or take a touch to get a foul etc!

Also close up the pressure of the crowd. If you ever see u21s it's like walking football.

One of numerous reasons why I'd scrap U21's for a reserve team, and limit the number of players on professional contracts at any one club to 40-50.

Especially at top clubs where wages are so ridiculous that young men who are essentially trainees can earn more during an 'apprenticeship' than a lower level pro (let alone a part time non-leaguer) earns during a career.

I didn't watch it all, he had a few tidy touches and his passes found his man but apart from that I couldn't tell you

This always makes me think of Liverpool being lauded for introducing a wage cap of £40k/year in their academy.

"It is claimed that a number of Prem outfits are offering up to £11,000-a-week to players as young as 16."

That was 10 years ago as well!

Liverpool introduce salary cap for Academy players in bid to keep them grounded

The Reds don't want their youngsters to be given too much too soon, as opposed to other top flight clubs who are paying £11,000-a-week to players as young as 16
