is there a limit on how many we can keep long term?
dmc, bailey and adams are key it seems
Except for McGoldrick I'd say we have a pretty good chance of keeping the others if Robins wants them. For me keeping Bailey is almost as important as DMC as he seems to get better every week and I haven't seen anyone break up the opposition's play for us as well as he does for a long time....the problem is if he keeps playing well Clough might decide to keep him at Derby for the rest of the season.
I've heard there is a gap between the date some of the players loans end and the date we can actually resign them which would mean we would lose them for a couple of games over christmas even if we keep them, anyone know if this is true?

Apart from DM the loanees have been exceedingly poor. Indeed all of robin's loans have been so poor. Out of all the squad only DM has been consistent. By far the worst has been Callum Ball. Don't forget Derby got Keogh and cov got ball! Talk about bad deals.
Lets just hope DM can keep his form until he leaves and it might provide enough of a cushion to avoid relegation. Certainly without him, this team would be below hartlepool
Turned around under MR? More like doing well under DM. after well over a 1/3 of the season over and he STILL hasn't got the fitness levels up!
Even a sunday league kids manager could have improved the fitness by now!

You are allowed to loan 4 players under 23, 4 players over 23 within the standard loan system during any one season (if any of these players are signed by you during the loan period they don't count against the number of loans you can have). Also any player under 20 can be taken on a youth loan which I believe are unlimited. There is also a temporary loan transfer for short term loans. Standard loans are either 6 months or 12 months and last between transfer windows. Loans shorter than 6 months are temporary loans and again don't appear to have a limit. You are only allowed to have a total of 8 players in squad under any of these methods and 5 in a match day squad. For info any player taken on a 12 month loan can be returned during the transfer window at 6 months if this agreed by the clubs.
