Is anyone else worried about the amount of players leaving in January?

Conor Henderson, James Bailey, Blair Adams, Jamie Reckord, Reece Brown
and of course the new league one joint top scorer David McGoldrick personally i think this will affect the team spirit if new faces come in we seem to have a good team atmosphere at the minute and this could all change come January when a large amount of the team departs and this could in affect change the current great results.
how realistic is it that we keep ANY of these players?

Henderson has been injuried the whole time he has been here, so he has to go. I'm not convinced by Reckord, but Brown has been plain awful, shame we can't send him back.

Except for McGoldrick I'd say we have a pretty good chance of keeping the others if Robins wants them. For me keeping Bailey is almost as important as DMC as he seems to get better every week and I haven't seen anyone break up the opposition's play for us as well as he does for a long time....the problem is if he keeps playing well Clough might decide to keep him at Derby for the rest of the season.

I've heard there is a gap between the date some of the players loans end and the date we can actually resign them which would mean we would lose them for a couple of games over christmas even if we keep them, anyone know if this is true?

Clough doesnt rate Bailey (or so i was told when we were first linked with him by a Derby fan mate) so no reason why we cant hold onto him.

Personally id like us to make a bid for him before we consider a loan extension. Try and get him while its more likely to e accepted than not!

Failing that, extend his loan until the end of the season and then try again

I think you can only have 4 long term loans (more than 6 months?) a season and that includes anyone you send back. Seeing as we have Ball and Brown on long term loans, it may leave us a bit screwed!

Apart from DM the loanees have been exceedingly poor. Indeed all of robin's loans have been so poor. Out of all the squad only DM has been consistent. By far the worst has been Callum Ball. Don't forget Derby got Keogh and cov got ball! Talk about bad deals.

Lets just hope DM can keep his form until he leaves and it might provide enough of a cushion to avoid relegation. Certainly without him, this team would be below hartlepool.

Turned around under MR? More like doing well under DM. after well over a 1/3 of the season over and he STILL hasn't got the fitness levels up!

Even a sunday league kids manager could have improved the fitness by now!

To be honest if Goldie has got anything about him he should want to at least see the season out with ccfc just to see how many he could score and if he could help us gain the new promised land

You are allowed to loan 4 players under 23, 4 players over 23 within the standard loan system during any one season (if any of these players are signed by you during the loan period they don't count against the number of loans you can have). Also any player under 20 can be taken on a youth loan which I believe are unlimited. There is also a temporary loan transfer for short term loans. Standard loans are either 6 months or 12 months and last between transfer windows. Loans shorter than 6 months are temporary loans and again don't appear to have a limit. You are only allowed to have a total of 8 players in squad under any of these methods and 5 in a match day squad. For info any player taken on a 12 month loan can be returned during the transfer window at 6 months if this agreed by the clubs.

The last 3 games where we have scored for fun McGoldrick has scored 1 goal from open play. MR's is most certainly getting this team galvanised. Your view is also so convoluted somehow??

So McG has sorted out the defence, midfield, got the link working right that joins the two together, sorted out all our problems from when Shaw was in charge, signed himself for our club, and in the last two games set up 6 goals and got the penalty he scored as well as scoring one from open play?

He is better than I realised

psgm1 for some reason really cannot stand Mark Robins. He can't do right in his eyes.

I would say Bailey is a good loan signing and Moussa now has seemingly come into form too. I've not seen Adams, but am looking forwards to seeing him play on Saturday.

Henderson has been injured and Reckord has been average.

Don't think any of them have been poor.

More like he can't stand anything good about our club. It is harder to moan about the good things.

I can understand the fans that don't have faith in our club. We have suffered for years. But at least most are happy with the way things are starting to look. Most of us can see the positives.
