My boy hates the fact that my Cov v Liverpool video has more views than all his uploads :cigar:
One day I'll have a look through other old VHS's to see what else I can upload!

We had this MOTD on VHS at home, remember them ending the show with 'Santa Claus is coming to town'

Agree to a point mate. The plastics, Irish & Scandi tourist fans certainly don't help their image....
I've lived here 25 years now & got both blue & red mates but I have to say the reds are generally less knowledgeable of football outside of the PL bubble than their blue counterparts.
However, the LFC club doesn't endear itself to non-reds imho either.....from the shameful use of CPO's to create rows of derelict houses to aid anfield redevelopment (after attempting to pinch the public green space of stanley park fell through)...
...or the recent arrogant application to trademark the word "Liverpool"....or the more recent shameful (backtracked) plan to furlough staff despite making £50m+ profit in the previous year....

I could go on...and on...

Anyhow, I'm in L15 & plan to join the North-West supporters club/whatsapp thingy next season, so maybe catch you for pint or 2 next season PB.

Happy days mate. I'm in L19...see you next season!

My first ever Cov game was against Liverpool mid-eighties. We lost.
They stopped us getting into Europe which could've been a major turning point for us.
I both went to school with and have good mates who are plastic Liverpool fans.
Had two "OK" nights out there but nothing spectacular. (Could have been the company).
All the victim shit.
I made a bold statement when Salah joined them that he'd be shit.

I ahve every reason to dislike them, however, they are by far and away the best team in the league, play some amazing football and you cannot help but not like Klopp.

I also met a Scouser following England who is a top guy and to see his posts and how much it meant to him last night, then, well fair play to them!

Hope they enjoy it!

Liverpool deserves that trophy excellent side but apologies if I offend people but I still believe Liverpool supporters were the root cause of hillsbourgh and the injustice card they played was in my eyes not acceptable. The fake crying on BT sport last night made my skin crawl by some that have never set foot in Liverpool never mind Anfield.

A guy I work with is a ‘massive’ Liverpool supporter who got pissed as a rat last night but has never seen them play live!!!

You don't want to get into it unless you know your facts.

I know people who were there, people who lost loved ones there and I also know that an independent criminal enquiry shows that they weren't to blame.

It's not really worth getting into it unless you know the facts rather than what you've read on Twitter or the Sun.

Ok educate me then. Let’s not go into a slanging match, tell me along with many others on here who may not post but share the same thoughts as me and I’ve spoken to a lot of people over the years that share the same opinion why the Liverpool’s supporters on that day have no blame for what sadly happened?

Educate me, let’s not rant.

In the conversation for the best Prem team ever, looking at 200 points over the last 2 seasons with a Champions League win thrown in for good measure. Klopps done it the way it chould be done, a real project over the last few years. Only United's 99 and 08 teams come close to this Liverpool side for me.

Love Liverpool when I've visited, cracking city, just can't stand the "fans" who do the stadium tour, have a picture of themselves touching that "famous" sign then try to rub it in your face.

I guess this is aimed at my post. Only a Reds fan would pay that sort of money for a tour. I went in 1993, having been to Anfield on a couple of occasions and wanted to see inside the 'working area'. I've followed Liverpool since I saw them play at Highfield Rd back in the 60's, probably before you were even a bubble in your old man's sack! I met "Razor" Ruddock during the tour. Great bloke. Best day I've had for years. And like I said in my original post, I really don't give two fucks if no-one likes that! :emoji_middle_finger:

Fair enough...apologies if I was a little curt in my response, but Like PB, I also know people who were there.
This timeline from the indy links to all the relevant reports, inquiries and inquests etc.

Timeline of Hillsborough families' 30-year battle for justice

This subject has also been debated on this forum more than once and several folk on here were also witness to the day it nearly happened to our lot in the 87 cup run....

Have a read and you'll be enlightened.

It was lit up for armed forces day. Was red white and blue. Amazing level of stupidity form the fans. People are trying to blame the building owners for lighting it blue.....

That's great, but when are we going to get people that think "if I don't drop it on the floor no-one will need to clear it up later". Esp when it's your own city. Surely people know by now stuff like litter picking is way down the council budget list of priorities and has been cut back massively so can't even use the excuse " it gives someone a job".

My bad, I thought you were a cov fan, hence being on here. No worries, enjoy your title win, fully deserved.

If you keep repeating that you “don’t give two fucks” you’ll start to believe it’s true.

Well blow me down! Someone who thinks that giving support to two teams is some sort of hanging offence! Mate, I really don't give a fuck or two fucks for that matter! I've supported City since way before you were a bubble, and followed Liverpool for not quite as long. Don't tell me who I can follow and who I can't. You just make yourself sound stupid and thick.
Oh, and give my love to your old lady. I probably shagged her years ago! Nah, fuck that! That would make you a possible son of mine and I've got enough as it is!

Oh aye, dont disagree mate. If people do stuff like this and everyone took a roll of bin liners then the council would just need to collect the bags - job done.

Now Terry you're repeating yourself
But that's okay drunk people can't help that.
A chemical reaction inside your brain causes you to forget what you're saying.

I thought supporting 2 teams was a sky sports era thing, Thought the elders had more morals. Have a great weekend old timer, maybe put the special brew down for an hour
