BBC say about 10,000 walked out in protest at raised prices.

Then Liverpool lost their 2-0 lead.

Sign of things to come, why should fans pay more & more year on year?

Completely agree, teams at the top don't really need the money from ticket sales anymore so they should be packing the stadium and using it to grow their fan base.

Ticket sales are now a tiny part of the prem leagues revenues, time to give something back

Seemed ridiculous to pay £22 to go into that shit hole today when fans only pay £20 to come into our ground.

Agree with the sentiment, but feel the protest would have far more value if they didn't pay in in the first place.

Absolutely! I firmly believe that without NOPM we would still be playing home games at Sickfields.

It is sometimes painful when you make a stand as most of us did. By paying to get in & walking out is of little consequence. The message received will be 'We will kick up a bit of a fuss, but still pay whatever you want'.

To REALLY make the point Supporters need to organise their selves the length & breadth of the country & have a total boycott for a weekend - including not watching on TV (MOTD excepting). It is all too easy for these 'businesses' atm. A swift & emphatic kick up the ass from their customers usually works to break the complacency.

...onwards & upwards PUSB
