Liquidation (1 Viewer)

If this very unlikely scenario materialises, and we are liquidated, has anyone considered player contracts?

Will the contracts of the likes of David Bell be honoured?

If an organisation is liquidated existing contracts are normally terminated. I can't see why a football club would be different from the norm.

This would be a drastic course of action just to be rid of bell even if he is paid 3 to 4 times the average wage at this level.

If you exclude Portsmouth bell is probably one of the big earners at this level. Fancy that bell is the Rooney of league one a big name player.

David Bell will be lining up on the right side of midfield for AFC Coventry for the foreseeable future.

There in the Midland Alliance, 5th Division South AT will continue to stress how good he looks in training and that this could well be the year for him. After 20 years as professional footballer CCFC will still continue to wait for him to come good.

Agreed LBB...liquidation and get rid of the '1 in 16' man...or struggle on.....much more difficult choice now! :)
