Unfortunately he did come across like a bit of a fool today and for once in my life I actually agreed with Ian.

Linnell wasn't even listening. We all know that the squad isn't strong enough but it is better than what we saw today .... and against Millwall and against Bristol and against Forest and against Leshtur ....

That was Ian's very point. There was a lack of effort today. Yes, we weren't good enough, but that doesn't mean we can't try harder than that.
