Listened to linnell and eakin on cwr today, eakin sounded more level headed and sensible and was thinking of the fans and getting back to the Ricoh
Linnell sounded like he has a soft spot for sisu and seemed eager for CCFC to carry on playing at six fields?

They both try to stay impartial regardless of what their personal opinion is. No need to for any scrutiny here. City won, that's all you need to care about.

And the fact that City won at home and we weren't there to see it.

I actually heard Mr Linnell say(about 15 mins ago)- Coventry shouldn't be playing in Northampton and should be playing in Coventry at the Ricoh- I'm sure I did didn't I?

Exactly Otis...I'm chuffed to bits at the results and the way we're playing...proud of the team..but going by comments on here and on CWR there does seem to be a mentality developing with a growing number of fans of 'all that matters is the team winning'...well that isn't all that matters. Even if we win every game from now till the end of the season this is still the darkest period in our club's history. Went to Wolves and Walsall and loved it...but no matter what happens I will never watch a team representing my city playing their 'home' games 35 miles away.

He does also regularly say how if it wasn't his job, he wouldn't go to Northampton to watch them too.

Well done to Steve and the lads. Definitely buzz around the place. Linnell has definitely nailed his flag to sisu. I'm in 2 minds though. Obviously I want city back in cov, but dread sisu coming with them, and staying long term. Club needs investment to help the boss, not Timmy and Joy using the club as a weapon to pressure the council into giving away the Ricoh. How ironic the best run of form for ages under the worst owners in the history of the club. PUSB

Point is - why would anyone care which way Linnell or Eakin swing on this? They're entitled to their opinion, but I do appreciate them both trying to keep it to themselves for the sake of broadcasting ethics. Sounds like you're trying to set up a witch hunt for someone for swinging slightly against your views but really, why does this matter...?

We all know the shit that's going on - noone can post a thread on here without it being shoved down their throat; but on a day where your team win 3-0, go 11th in the table, look more likely than they did last week to be returning to Coventry soon, with ownership of their stadium, refreshed signatures on contracts and a class-A manager - some people will really have to scrape the barrel to find something negative to say... *Enter Stuart Linnell stage right in a black cape*

Cheer up mate - it ain't perfect but it's getting better - don't see what commentators have to do with any of this unless you really must moan about something.

"Right team wrong place" Anybody in attendance at the fans forums will know Linnell's feelings on this.

As soon as I get within 100 yards of Northampton my electronic ankle tag beeps and I am automatically tasered.

Their Sickly, Smarmy, diplomatic Stance, does the pair of them no favours, "Tweedle Dum or Tweedle Dee" please get off the fence, grow a pair, and give an unfettered opinion.

Perhaps Stuart will come on here again at some point, in fairness he's a bit more open here than he can be on the radio.

Didn't hear the phone in, I usually listen to it on the iPlayer but they seem to have screwed that up again. I only get Nick Owen telling me to re-tune

It wasn't the best phone-in, even by phone-ins standards... unless you want a blow by blow account of Martin's movements.

To be fair, considering they've threatened the CT to get positive coverage, I expect they've done the same with CWR.

This is a serious accusation.

Do you have any evidence?
