It was crying out for Esse to play there, after half time and bring Saka on.

Esse was tiring too, he’s building himself to match fitness.

If there was one positive tonight, we have Wang some minutes.

Quite astonishing that not a single person who thinks we will miss the top 2 currently thinks we could win the playoffs.

Do you think Ipswich and Boro have similar polls each time they lose? like the other night in Ipswich’s case….?

They both probably did similar polls last October.

Not enough minutes. Mason Clarke was awful. Not having a go, he has been brilliant for us, but struggling tonight.

At least we’ve got a squad now there though.

Just need to ease the young lads into it.

We won’t go up. This squad don’t have it in them to turn this form around and definitely don’t have it in them to beat Middlesbrough next month.

I think we do, but not with this formation. 5 at the back. Long ball. I believe we did something similar, when Wright was out earlier in the season.

Yes I think that's how it came across certainly would have persisted with esse taking up the number 10 position .

It’ll be close but I think we’ll finish 2nd.

We’d won our previous 2 games - win at QPR and it’s 9 from 12.

I went for not promoted. Just no way it will happen with our away form.
