Draw your line in the stand, nail your flag to the mast.

With the current state of play where do you think we will finish?

It's not the first game we've lost with a better xG. We are making and getting good chances, they are just not going our way at the moment - but we are still scoring goals. We ARE struggling at the back. But we will make good, if we take 3 points from QPR away that's still a good result across the two games. Pressure will come on Boro at some point as well. CCFC to finish first.

Stop specifying our potential failure.

There was no option for champions either.

Yeah. It's still all very raw.

Hopefully that was just a one off. Not talking about gaps in the midfield and being overrun, I am talking about being well beaten and gutless

We are still in a great position, but we need to regroup and rethink. We just simply cannot afford to let ourselves be that open.

And no, I am not going to vote. I want to see a reaction to this result on Saturday.

The fact we’re asking the question infers that the OP feels like we’ll bottle it.

We’re 8 points clear of 3rd and people are bedwetting. We have the best home record in the league and Boro need to come to us and a better record away record than Ipswich.

I’m angry we threw away a lead, but it hasn’t shook my confidence that we’ll go up.

I'm asking as its clearly quite a pivotal point in the year.

I can't help thinking it would be the most on brand thing for us to slip to 3rd in the last couple of games then fuck up the play off semis.

Hope I'm very wrong.

We missed 3 big chances in one half and had the best chances of the match so that’s something.

Kitching gifting that goal is infuriating.

If you asked this question after the Millwall win, the results would probably be quite different. Curiously, at this stage, no one thinks we will go up if we drop out of the autos by the end of the season. That says a lot about the perception of the team mentality.

I still think we will do it, but something needs to change. The performances and desire have not been good enough for some time.

46% saying not promoted is absolutely bonkers. Some big money to be made at the bookies if you genuinely believe that.

That's the first time for me this season that I have been so deflated by a performance.

Even though we had chances, Norwich were by far and away the better side and it was also the out-muscling that got me. They just won so many second balls and were more aggressive.

Agreed. I’m annoyed when teams play through us but unforced errors are the worst. In key moments this team has just done the stupidest unforced errors.

Losing away is becoming a habit - a hard habit to break.
I've said it before, we were massively over performing. It has caught up with us.
Asante was having a stellar spell. He's come back how he was last season.
We are soft up top, despite what some might think, and Rushworth can't perform miracles every week with some of the shit going on in front of him.
We are soft. We don't have a fight in us.

We are no better than a team around the lower mid table area since beginning of December, the fall off has been massive. Everyone looks leggy. Trouble is we have had an incredible run from start of season instead of an average start and coming with a wet sail in 2nd half of the season like two of the last three seasons.

There to be shot at and the away form reflects that. "Here come the leaders, let's see what they are made of". Unfortunately, not much. Body language is not good. I hate to say it but Lampard sulking and sitting down through most of that second half worries me.

He has to find a solution to the away game's issues quickly. Some horrors upcoming Sheffield Utd, Bristol City, places we struggle historically. I see too many relying on the Boro home game as a decider, we all know this league isn't like that, if we continue to take 0.5 PPG away from home (last 6 away games) it will make little difference.

Looks like we are doing a Sunderland last season and with our home form we will accumulate enough play off points and drift into the playoffs while Boro and Ipswich sail away.

Taking all that into account I think I need to enjoy the ride a bit more and see this as the "golden" season because if we do go up, next season will be take the money and run and by this time next season we will be on our third manager and that will be Nuno!

If we just keep up our home form, we’ll be sound. The away form needs to be addressed and we need to start on Saturday.

December we could point to a packed schedule, we’ve had 22 games between league away games so that excuse doesn’t wash.

Asante has had a spell out injured.

Players don’t usually come back at full form.

Granted; the elbow and potential suspension aren’t going to help him.

It was crying out for Esse to play there, after half time and bring Saka on.
