I can honestly say that the performance today was "like watching Brazil" - it was that good. Some of the movement on and off the ball was a pleasure to behold, one touch football, 30 yard passes to feet, Baker with his Tommy Hutchinson hat on all defying belief that these are the same players bood off the park a few short weeks ago. The AT effect is mesmerising with players such as Bell, Sammy, Gunnersson and Jukebox thriving on freedom of expression and responsibility - I've always thought football was a simple game spoiled by poor team selection and bizarre tactics. Don't forget it can only get better with this squad as players gain even more confidence, express their hidden skills and understand each others style of play.
Keep it up AT your doing a brilliant job. I hope I'm not getting carried away with all this - I don't think so!!

I think you might be mate! haha

We're not quite Barcelona or anything, but i will agree that we're playing some outstanding football at times, and players are starting to shine that didn't in our previous system. Thorn definitely has them playing with confidence and with a way they're comfortable with and that we love to watch. Let's hope it brings some rewards with it next season!

Nail and head spring to mind. The phrase just like watching Brazil reminds me mainly of the rampaging full backs Cafu and Robbie Carlos. Now I'm not saying for a second that Clarke and hussey are the same but its a similar mentality. The full backs play like wingers very high up the pitch with the centre halves spreading wide leaving a large space which clingan (Dunga) drops into to create a trio at the back.

It is early days still but after a full pre season playing this style more goals will come and I for one cannot wait to get the 'Ole' on the go under AT at the fortress Ricoh next season. PUSB
