I would have more respect for him if he was more honest ........oh Baker is not in my plans and numerous others ..........why not just say we can't afford his wages he has to go

But he peddles the sisu line , its his decision etc,

If these decision are his then its time for him to go

I have tried to buy into his philosophies yet I doubt he believes what he is saying anymore, just hanging in there for the job.

Yeh he's spineless but honest I think. I hope he's honest enough to take a long look in the mirror.

We all know we are useless at the Ricoh (1 win in 8, now 9) so why the great shock that we lose to the TOP team? Did we all really think we are that good? Our main target is to avoid relegation. I don't want to hear any more babble about the play-offs.

Thats what its come to though ...........avoiding the playoffs

Seem to remember some fantasist saying we had a better squad this season and were looking to reach the playoffs

Now who would that be and who picks the formation and team

we've scored just 1 goal in our last 5 home league games. that and the 1 win in our last 9 home games is just not good enough.

Pressley Out!

It's not just the results, it's the way we play-the way we set up, with the CM so deep, the FB's not overlapping enough, Madine isolated and a total lack of movement.

Swindon might be a top team in this division, but any half decent manager would be able to construct at least some attempt at 1) neutralising their threats and 2) hurting them and exploiting their weaknesses. The manager doesn't do the things that a half-decent manager does, he is tactically inept. Has to go, sorry, wanted him to do well, but he just doesn't have it in him. We need a manger who gets more out of players than their level, not less.

It's not that we lost it's the manner in which we lost, Swindon didn't get out of first gear, a very easy win for them. It's all well and good saying our main target is to avoid relegation but SP himself said that we should be promotion candidates this year, we allegedly are in the top third of the league for player budget so why is just avoiding relegation good enough?

Forums are all about opinions. This is mine. There are some people that feel/felt that CCFC are/were good enough for a play off place, and tried to convince others that the team were/are one of the best teams in the league. After watching Swindon take our pants down, smack our ar**s,powder our ar**s, and pull our pants back up, I would say "Give your heads a wobble" let's break this down shall we. Against Walsall, we played reasonably well, kept a clean sheet, and played the two young CB's, who both had very good games. Last night SP changes it by bringing in Martin and Webster. They were diabolical, and both at fault for the first and last goals. Maybe my old eyes were deceiving me, but didn't we play with 3 men up front against Walsall, and only Madine up front last night? You could physically see with 25 minutes to go Madine "Give up" a gallant effort but no support. Like Samo says, "High press without the high or the press."
