Tanganga would compliment Kitching really wellKitching is decent. So progressive with the ball. Has some steel. Leads by example. really like him. We do need another CB but that’s great as the squad will benefit by the competition for places.
After seeing Charlie Hughes on Saturday ,.him and Kitching would be a top drawer partnershipTanganga would compliment Kitching really well
Agree on that alsoAfter seeing Charlie Hughes on Saturday ,.him and Kitching would be a top drawer partnership
It was interesting to see Thomas and Kitching playing separate halves last night, rather than as a pair. Slightly to my surprise, I thought Kitching looked by far the more authoritative player.Fantastic at advancing the ball, reminds me of Doyle in the play off final season, confident to move through the lines and make things happen, only defender we have at the club who can do it

Ideally need another player in who can cover RCB and RB.
If we lose MVE, we need someone to cover RB that isn’t Lati IMO. Also not convinced by him as a CB in a back 4. Don’t hate the guy but I think he was recruited for a system we no longer play and doesn’t really fit anywhere now.I think that player is Lati.
We do desperately need another CB though.
Really hope he isn’t the answer to backup RB (might well be though) - need a proper fullback I think.I think that player is Lati.

To be honest, you’re amongst the most guilty on here for confirmation bias. You’ve never liked Lampard and any evidence were declining in performance and you’re all over it.Am loving all the “this performance against Luton reserves completely disproves all previous evidence” trend though, keep it up.
By saying really nice things about him?Tanganga would compliment Kitching really well
Personally, I think Thomas is a better defender than Kitching. The two do compliment each other v well and it’s a position where you need good combinations.
I would necessarily sign a CB unless they’re next level and will start ahead of them both.
Do any Data heads have something that shows how Kitching and Thomas compare? because I just don't get the 'Thomas good, Kitching not' meme at this point.
Defended well second half and always puts his body on the lineWe definitely need another CB as we sold Luis Binks. Whilst I like his song, having Jake Bidwell as a back up CB fills me with dread.

Whilst that’s true, how many games did we need to go to 4th in the depth chart?Defended well second half and always puts his body on the line
He’s not an answer to any question at cb though
Both can be improved upon of course but both are decent enough, quite like them. Freezing out Kitching while we saw regular appearances from the likes of Binks and Lati was one of the stupidest things Robins did towards the end.Do any Data heads have something that shows how Kitching and Thomas compare? because I just don't get the 'Thomas good, Kitching not' meme at this point.

The evidence behind Kitching is our continued superior record when he plays.
Also, thanks for doing falling into my trap
Here are their stats from last season. Not an ideal comparison because it omits some stuff and I don’t have time to do a deep dive.Do any Data heads have something that shows how Kitching and Thomas compare? because I just don't get the 'Thomas good, Kitching not' meme at this point.

Most noticeable last night was when Kitching came on we seemed calmer at the back and less frenetic . First half we were all over the place at the back
I disagree. It can work but the left-footed RCB has to be very competent, confident and comfortable on their right side. Ideally, you have a Left footer and a right footer but scarcity of left footed CBs means that many right footed CBs have spent years through all levels of football playing LCB and are adept at compensating.Kitching has been our best centre half for a long time. No idea why it took Lampard and co so long to start him. The game last night should also out to bed the nonsense /obsession about left footed and right footed CH’s. It doesn’t matter which they are or what side they play.
