Also bailed Rushworth out, is he shite too?

Do you actually believe what you type or do you think it makes you edgy?

I just don’t particularly rate Kitching or Thomas defensively. Never have. Everyone has players they don’t rate at something. I have no idea what @edgy thinks.

It helps that the ball comes nowhere near them most game. This is the Ben Wilson defence really.

How does the defence both bail itself out often and have the ball come nowhere near them most of the game?

You're arguing with a man who once failed to pay for his season ticket.

Well most isn’t all and I’m not sure you’re helping the defence (no pun intended) here.

I agree we all have players we prefer / rate etc

But we do have a good defensive record , XG against is the leagues 4th best , we had the best until watford

The words were ‘often’ and ‘most’. This is a bit bizarre, aren’t you a data scientist? Why aren’t you trusting what the data tells you?

That doesn't read right here,he belatedly paid for one after missing the early bird or something like that?

I’m afraid if you want a calm and measured defence you’re not going to find one in the quagmire of the Championship. It’s harem scarem.

We've conceded 1 more goal than two sides. We've conceded less than the other 21 sides. There's sides that have conceded more than double that we have.

Can you imagine how well we would be doing if we had a couple of decent CB's? We might even be clear at the top of the table by 3 points and have something like +25 GD after just 12 games......

Now back to reality. You're really making yourself sound silly.

Recently Kitching switched off in the 96th minute at Portsmouth and the guy still had to lob the keeper, and Rushworth hastily went to ground and brought a player down.

It's going to happen sometimes. Burnley's defensive record last season was an absolute statistical freak, I doubt teams will come close to it for a long time.

I'd much rather watch us than Burnley anyway. Fucking horrible stuff.

This. Their defensive record was due at least in part to their turgid ability to stop trying to play any decent football and see a game out. It was admirable in a way, but horrific to watch.

He forgot to pay for the one he wanted and only realised when he didn't get sent a paper ticket via email. He was lucky it wasn't a season where we used the same card. It made me smile.

It's unrealistic to expect any of our players to not make mistakes. But some seem to think they should be perfect every game. Not even the top players in the world are faultless.
