I'd suggest that the average person can say and do moronic things, but they're not morons; a moron being a stupid person, an idiot.

Anyone know what's going on with Kitching? Wasn't in Barnsleys squad today, is he injured?

We don’t need to over paying for players like this offer what we think he is worth and get into his agents head and let the agent go to work.

Barnsley fans aren't buying it. Sounds like he's probably on the way out.

So you need a left footer at LCB?
Joel Latibeaudiere vs. Sunderland:

97% pass accuracy
11 passes into the final third
3/3 aerial duels won
100% tackles won
1 interception
3 clearances
1 block
6 ball recoveries

Ideally you would but Joel is a fine player and I can’t see the rush to replace him. In time I see him on the right Thomas in the middle plus one

I think he's the next captain and I think he will replace Fadz centrally too .
Has been a great acquisition and a very steadying influence at the back

Joel will end up on the right and Thomas in the middle in the middle to long term.

You don't need a left footer but i think having a natural left footer does help with playing out from the back

I think he could end up CDM role he plays international but whatever he will be a fixture in the side, excellent today.

Thomas likes to bring the ball out quite high up the pitch , i wouldn’t want to stop him doing that so would keep him on the right

I am, I saw him struggling last week late on in the game, he bombed forward and couldn’t get back, then stretching when we won the ball back, I thought it was his hip with the stretches he was doing.

Certainly the next Captain. To be honest I think he would be comfortable in any of the back three slots. He may be stronger with his right foot but is very comfortable with both. Which is refreshing to see.

He’s been playing with an injured groin it seems. But Coventry mentioned in article

‘Maybe I should have protected him’ - Collins on Kitching

Neill Collins says he possibly could have ‘protected’ his captain Liam Kitching better by not playing him th... Local News Barnsley FC Barnsley South Yorkshire

Repeating myself from another thread but Barnsley have signed Jamie McCart a LCB on a season long loan.

Maybe a chink in the door for us ?

Bit like Norwich when they signed James Maddison or Brentford when they signed Ivan Toney, see what you are saying.

He’s not Maddison or Toney though is he? And IIRC Maddison wasn’t £3.5m up front.

Yeh because 23 year old league 1 defenders are known for coming at a premium.
