Good news about the new contract.
Hopefully we'll offer James a permanent contract too so we don't need to rush Kelly back as much

I'd heard he'd done his PCL which can be a serious injury
But if Robins says he doesn't need surgery and is putting a 3 month timescale on his recovery that's hopefully encouraging
Bad timing for the lad in his contract negotiations though
The club will do the right thing but the lad is in a weaker position than if he was fully fit

I wonder if that alters MRs targets for the summer? Looking at a replacement for Kelly already as we might need someone to start the season there.

Just to put into context how bad a PCL injury can be, a young Chelsea player talks about his 3 year lay off

Chelsea's Charly Musonda: 'It's been hard but I'm on the right track'

Chelsea's Charly Musonda talks us through a tough three years - and the extraordinary story of how a knee injury saved his father's life.

Let's hope Liam's injury is as short term, as his medical advisers think.

When I heard it was a PCL I feared the worst
I try not to post about injuries before the club gives their update
Fingers crossed but it's looking more hopeful now
