I'd never 'want' us to lose, but this season, I think cup defeats will help us in the long run.

Although, as someone else posted, the first win of the season also helps players confidence / morale, so maybe a win would suit us better..........and a loss in the second round

I don't think that people want us to loose, not bothered though is different. I hope we win every game, but the loss on Saturday didn't hurt as much as usual

I don't actively hope that we lose, but on Saturday, I was not in a bad mood at all when we did. Normally I'd be in a terrible mood when we lose, but I wasn't at all bothered. I'm so apathetic that I simply do not care how they do. And I'l admit that if we were winning every week at Sixfields it would make me feel sick.

I haven't put CWR on during the game for the 2nd time running for the first time when I've been at home since they took over the coverage from Mercia! I'm only really on here at all as I pray that there is some way of ridding the club of it's owners and today, to enjoy the owners humiliation.

I can understand that and sw88 about it helping us in the long run, it is the bit about if we win sisu get money so people want us to lose. :thumbdown:
