Adding Travis to that and we've basically got 3 sitting midfielders

If we strengthen midfield it needs to be in the Torp mould
He was signed on loan by Ipswich in their promotion season and at the time they had Morsy and Luongo. I think its because we have so many similar players. The point being Ipswich signed him in a promotion season. Clearly they rated his ability. If Lampard views Torp as more of an attacking midfielder then this could also workI would feel slightly different about it in the case of a “Sheaf replacement”, but he’s always struck me as being a far more limited player than Sheaf? I don’t think he played that much for Ipswich during that season - Ive only ever seen him play for Blackburn!
