Many of us at the start of the season would have taken the situation we are in right now .
The biggest thing we have is our Home form is incredible and we will be backing the boys with a packed out arena

This is potentially a 2nd championship playoff campaign in 3 years alongside an fa cup semi and let's be honest its been pretty good supporting this football club in recent years and we all wanted days like this on the regular when things were shit and now we have them

I actually think we will win against boro , but what will be will be

If we miss out we miss out and we go again we build again in the summer

Keep the faith and try and relax this week PUSB

I think the frustration is we’re doing our best to throw this opportunity away. Next season the league will be tougher.

Yep I actually thought we were pretty impressive for how well we coped defensively with 10 men for 60mins.

Middlesbrough aren't in good shape either. Get some bodies back and get behind the team at a full CBS and we have a great chance.

Fail and we can learn from the mistakes. We need a good start next season, proper depth in all positions (no cover for MvE is borderline abuse!)

Lots of positives and still in our own hands which is pretty incredible considering where we were when Robins left and how we've had a late season injury pile up

To be honest I would rather have another season like this one, rather than get hammered in the Premier League every week.

We are nowhere near good enough to go up, neither are Bristol or Sunderland. The points gap between those and Sheffield United tell you that. As much as I despise Wilder, Sheffield United should go o up based on the league points they have accumulated. Call me old fashioned if you want

Slightly harsh, they put in a huge effort today and were undone by a total accident of a clip that resulted in the red card and yet another individual error. Injury has screwed us and the front line needs to buck up but it's not like they aren't trying

Regardless of what happens next week, we’ve finished the season as serious play off contenders.

For 8 of the last 10 seasons now we’ve finished in the top half of whatever division we’ve been in.
Considering the utter misery that used to surround us, we’ve done well

If we miss out we lose the backbone of the squad.

MvE
Rudoni
Sheaf
Wright

Will probably all move on. That's a lot of quality we will need to replace, and replacing talent AND getting it right is quite a challenge.

It won't be the end of the world as we've done similar before, but to miss out now would be so disapointing having done the hard work and gone from 17th in the championship to 5th

Relax? No thanks, I’m already absolutely bricking it. These are the big games you get excited for - it’s a privilege to have this much on the line at this stage of the season. For all this team’s faults, I’m grateful we’ve got this far.

Regardless of what happens, we’ve progressed compared to least year. A few quality signings and we could have a proper go of it next season if we’re still on this division, which is the most likely outcome.

TBF I actually think Wright wouldn't be that much of a loss if he went AND we get someone equal/better in - goes missing for too many games

With Birmingham and Wrexham set to take the piss with FFP and a fresh set of parachute wankers in the league I expect it will be quite similar next season with an awful lot of similar strength teams fighting for 2 or 3 playoff places and not much else to choose between the rest.

This team does specialise in doing everything the hard way and I back us to invest wisely in the summer. FL will hopefully reflect in being a bit naive with his tactics being the same in every game while some more steel is added to the side.

While it would be a real kick in the balls to miss out because of Brad Collins, 3 consecutive top 10 finishes in this league is as good as we’ve had it since 2001. These are still cracking times to be a CCFC fan.

Looking on the bright side, a point today wouldn’t have made much difference. We’d still have needed to beat boro to be certain we couldn't be caught by millwall or Blackburn. And even now a point could still do it.

As far as we know we didn't get any fresh injuries today, and should have a couple returning next week. I'm wondering if we will appeal the sending off as it was never a red IMO, what contact there was appeared to be accidental.

I could be wrong but was it the case in the past that if you appealed and it was deemed frivolous than an extra match was added? Lampard seemed to accept it in his post-match interview so likely no appeal. I’m pretty concerned about Bidwell, however - form has dropped off a cliff and he was off the pace again today albeit coming on in difficult circumstances.

I keep seeing this. No one is ready to be good enough for the premier league. You have to recruit and build the moment you get there.

If we lose those players all at once we’ve probably got £40m+ for Lampard to spend.

It would be interesting to see what he could do with the money.so far he's only added Grimes, and that was a decent addition.

But we'd need to replace whoever leaves plus a GK, LB, RB and CF. And we need to offload Simms.

Was convinced we would lose those last two away games against teams fighting for their lives. Alas , Boro looked second best to Norwich today and very hesitant at times.
We really have too many weak links right now to progress to the Prem I think.
Most worrying aspect for me recently has been our managers inability to set us up correctly, Plymouth…should have seen Dasilva and Sheaf and not Bidwell and Allen and today should never have had Collins in goal again. I have defended the keeper before but he’s a calamity waiting to happen. If Lampard does it even once more then he’s insane and self destructive!

I've calmed down from earlier and to be fair, objectively, going into the last game at home knowing a win will guarantee you a play off spot is a good season.

From where we were before FL it is amazing we still have it in our own hands to get in. Im not confident we will get there and haven't been since we lost Dovin. But lets see and if nothing else i think we can see we need more quality and need to move 4 or 5 on because they are not good enough if we want to keep getting in top 6 spots.
