two months ago we wouldn't have even had a match to go to tomorrow. . .

I couldn't care if we lost every game till the end of the season, id rather be able to watch OUR team than not!

we cant imagine how challenging off field events have been for Pressley. He stayed loyal, our turn to do the same tomorrow

You couldn't care? So you'd be happy with relegation?
If we lose tomorrow pressley has to go...end of.

Is the OP'S life that empty?
Happy to watch dross and defeat after defeat because it's a CCFC game.
You crack on, but some of us set our sights a bit higher.
If there's not 100% effort and commitment and some positive signs tomorrow then it's time for a change.

I fully agree with this post however if he does lose tomorrow he has to go as there isn't a choice.

Got to admire the OP if he can go with that but in reality the club should know when we are not happy or nothing will change.

Sometimes you have to vote with your feet.
We know it worked to get us back from Sixfields but even the OP would struggle if every game was like the ones in the past few weeks.
IMHO It's not fair to protest at the team during the match as they are provided by Sisu and are clearly not up to the task.

Same goes for SP. We know he doesn't like loanees so he too is given a team that he does not want.
He's got to be admired but at some point he needs to talk out. If not it appears he is okay with it and people will call for his head.

Can't believe you couldn't care if we lost every game from now on! Do you REALLY want to see City in the bleedin' Conference League in a year or two, coz with that attitude, that's where we'll be!

To be honest I'd rather read that than the multitude of "I'm giving up" posts. I will go to every game regardless of how we do, but I obviously want us to win. However, if we don't then I'll be at the next game.

Come on mate. I don't think he meant that literally.

Let's be honest, loads on here made out the the move to Sixfields deprived them of a human right. Now the club are back they can't be arsed and make up excuse after excuse.

To think some idiots think a phoenix club would achieve gates of 5k!

FP my problem with that is whilst we have people prepared to put up with it, no matter how bad it is, then why should we expect things to change?

Similarly we shouldn't expect people just to give up and act like toddlers when we don't win a few games.

This isn't about not winning a few games though. This is losing to some of the worst and/or smallest teams in the league. This is a lack of fight and grit. This is a lack of attacking ideas.
We're all used to not winning a few games. But it's the style of play and defeats that is the problem.

Have kept my mouth shut about this because of the overwhelming amount of clowns who are calling for Pressleys head.

So we are having a shit run of form...so we have a team full of youngsters and Pressley is refusing to slate them in the press (yes it pisses me off too).

Pressley could probably have left us for a more appealing venture, a club in their own stadium without these wankers running us, but he didn't because he's in it for the long run. He showed some loyalty and commitment to actually building something here.

We have a manager who is still learning, and in my opinion he's the best thing that's happened to us in a long time and stuck with us through all the off field shite, and actually had people talking about play offs for a part of last season despite starting on a 10 point deduction.

Give him some fucking time and stop acting like a bunch of children calling for him to go if we lose the next game. What is that? Lose the next game and he's gone? What if he draws? What if we win 6-0? He'll probably be a hero and you'll all be singing about walking in a pressley wonderland at the JPT.

Rant over

Never understood the 'cos we lost the last one I'm not going to the next one' standpoint.

Think the only reason I would consider not going would be because I felt the players weren't trying or putting the required effort in.

At the moment they clearly are. Seems to me we ARE trying hard enough and we are trying to play nice football, even if it doesn't come off.

Can't see anything wrong with the attitude of the players, so does it just all boil down to you not going because we are losing?

Welcome to Coventry City, mate!

If they stop trying then I'll consider giving a game or 2 a miss, but until then, you can count me in.

I fully agree.

But this isn't just a few games. We are 1 point off the bottom. 1 point out of the last 21. The clubs at the bottom are picking up points...especially when they play us. We have scored 15 goals in 14 games and have a joke of a defence and a manager that is starting to look as though he doesn't have a clue. If I lived in Coventry I would go to every game I could make. I would swap shifts all the time if I could. But you need to understand it is different for those of us that have to travel a long way. And there are quite a lot of us. It is a long journey home each time our team doesn't even seem to be trying. You can't just drown your sorrows with the lads. It gets to you.

And the worse thing is it doesn't look as though anything is going to change.

IMHO Pressley has not got the players he wants so why should he take the blame.

If anything he should be blamed for not speaking out.
However, Sisu probably also have that tied up with a gross misconduct clause on confidentially.

Probably best to keep him rather than just bring in a Sisu puppet. (Another?)

I bet it's like I felt the another night coming back from Oldham, but every other week.

Most people can't even be bothered to post that they don't go anymore. If they did there would be about 500 people a week posting on here that they were sick of the dross these owners (ultimately) are serving up and are no doubt as disillusioned as the other 12,000 that have decided not to attend since the Coleman era. SISU are the only ones to blame in my opinion. Surely Seppala is the only constant during the SISU tenure? The gamble of not buying into the Ricoh in the early years has badly backfired in my opinion.

Pressley isn't doing himself any favours though with the formation and the lack of commitment from some players - this must be inherent with loan and short term signings - effectively mercenaries.

It would be easy for SISU to pull the trigger and blame their lack of investment on poor management. I would review the situation again in a few games as I am sure there isn't a massive queue of top class managers that can replace him.

Because the vast majority of managers don't get all the players they want and work around it, which is surely one of the necessary qualities of coaching. When you're at the foot of the table everyone plays some part, no matter how much they can be excused.
