We also have Willis at a push and what about Richard Wood? Not heard he's out for the season.

Wood's injured, out for a while by the sound of it. Also, Bell's still struggling and Cranie might be too.

I think looking at this squad makes it even more frustrating that Portsmouth will be coming here with two new faces. They could easily make the difference tommorow, in a similar way that Nimely did on his debut. I can only image how Thorn is feeling about it all.

scapuzzi is a real talent,i like what ive seen of him

BUT hes not the finished article yet and id say marlon king is better,we did alright ahndling him and should be able to deal scapuzzi hopefully, also its one thing playing for man city and another playing for a decimated pompey sid

but yeh really wanna stuff pompey because of their nonstop rule bending

Another shuffle to the back 4 tomorrow then! How will we line up?

Clarke (RB) Keogh (cb) Christie (CB) Crainie (LB)?

I'm much more comfortable when Crainie is at LB over the other two youngsters. Mainly as he covered there for at least half a season so grew to no the role. I know he's a much better CB but I don't trust Clarke at LB! Plus he's looked pretty useful at RB so shouldn't be moved! And Christie is a natural CB (I believe)

I'm sure that's what 'Boro were thinking too before we beat them.

I don't know if I'd like going into a game of this stature trusting Christie at CB? If Cranie's fit and Cameron is out I'd go:

Clarke Keogh Cranie Hussey

Still, for me, I prefer Christie at RB to Clarke, but you can't drop Clarke at the moment as he's playing quite well and his goal was quality the other day!

kg82. Agreed. When was the last time Christie started a match at CB? Too big a risk to start him there surely.

That's all I'd be worried about. I rate Christie but he's been playing RB all season. I don't think we can afford to allow any time in games for players to be finding their feet in positions if they're a bit rusty - unless it's forced on us, of course.

Would be a big ask at his age an experience to play centre back in such a big game
