We are going to get relegated unless there is a mirace...
Unless we find a coventry multi-millionaire we are doomed for admin.

I really cant see us signing anyone else and if we sell any of our key players ie. Clingan, cranie, keogh, Lukas we are screwed. I doubt we will sign anyone which means unfortunatley our only hope is eastwood... If thorn can find out the way that southend got goals out of him then we could have a glimmer of hope.

Well if it is to be then we really should try and blood as many youngsters as is possible to get them as much experience as they can and try and build a young side for next year, cos we certainly won't have any money to buy anyone next season in League One either.

That is the only way to go I feel and at least the fans will be a little more accepting of the kids' efforts and their development than they would with senior players losing games week in week out.

We will probably do a Plymouth. Those teams you mentioned had decent finance to help them get back up.

I did say a while ago about us becoming a club who will play the kids just like forest,manure etc did in the past.
Would this be such an awful way to go??
Ok were not in the championship!! but how does anyone know this for sure unless you can predict the future.
Who knows maybe just maybe they may become a very good team and play for eachother, care about the club and may even have some success at it, the season has only just began and most people have us relegated and doomed.
Remember ferguson had 1 match to save his job once

Totally agree ICHAN, however, there are one or two flaws....firstly the youngsters coming through that are good enough are midfielders and defenders and our problem is scoring. The other flaw in your masterplan is that under the current regime we send any of our promising youngsters out on loan in a "try it now buy it later snap your hands off" kind of way.

Gunnerson etc did not want to stay simple as.
How do we know any of the kids we have as forwards can't score unless they are given a go.
It could only take a couple of wins and who knows what confidance could do for these kids?

Firstly, I don't class Gunnarson etc as youngsters coming though that went out on loan. Thomas, Clarke and Cameron were the youngsters who came through last year. Thomas the one with natural ability was farmed out on loan against the wishes of the board and the fans. Under SISU there is every possibility that Bigiramana and Christie will meet the same fate.

I'm only going on what I've seen of Jeffers and Wilson but they're not good enough. I have seen nothing whatsoever that either is good enough and neither did Cheltenham Town and Kettering or wherever they were on loan last year.

The kids are watched everyday on training by probably Carsley and sometimes maybe Thorn. If they were considered good enough they would be in the team like Gael and Christie.

I remember not long ago everyone kept saying "Give O'donovan a chance, who knows what he can do if he isn't played"
Well look how that one turned out.

I take your point youre an idiot (no pun there) but I meant youngsters in general weather they came through the ranks or not.
As far as the likes of jeffers and wilson go I will take your word on them.
I just think that the kids young players we have may just surprise some people with a bit of good fortune there confidance will surely grow and they will get that invincible never say die attitude that was there last year at the start under boothroyd, ok we had a few differant players then and a bigger squad but only really gunna and westwood have gone who were getting regular games ala before judas came.
We still have a few to come back from injuries yet so who knows it may only take a win to start the ball rolling

Some Members, of the now defunct, CET Forum, would concur, that I've posted my distrust of sisu, on many occasions, I always maintained that they are financial Vultures, who would pick the bones of the club dry, and that was the sole reason for their being here, and not football in the least, sadly they are proving me right
And I fully expect the remaing players of any note to be gone before the window closes, its possible they may recoup most of their money, and I doubt the canteen silverwhere is not beyond their grasp.

By board, you know full well I was referring to Ranson and Hoffman, that was a whole lot of media coverage in this regard.

Correct, we had seen very little of Thomas, unlike one of the greatest clubs in the country and europe!!! They'd been scouting him for however long and if one of the greatest clubs in the country sees something then that to me looks like we were letting something very special leave our club at the first opportunity. Thornton, Hall and Turner we're the recent fruits of the academy's labour and then Liverpool come knocking!!!! Of course there's going to be uproar haha.

ROD 4 Games in and hes a faliure of the highest order, lets look at freddie been here ages done nothing, juke not setting the world on fire, come on lets give them some breathing space before we crucify anyone who may not be a messi.
People are saying well jukes not getting the service etc well nor is o'donavon or anyone for that matter but were only 4 games in to the season, lets just see if the kids can turn it around, this maybe what is needed, because at the end of the day there is no other option.

Similarly I take your point ICHAN but my fear is they'll even manage to sell Bigiramana against his wishes (according to many he is 100% committed to this club) so despite how well they pull together and play to their fullest ability they'll have the rug pulled from beneath by SISU. We are that club that not long ago we would have been talking about, cherry picking their talent on the cheap during their financial meltdown....but worse we have owners who have no interest in the football side of things but just the balance sheet. That's the scary bit, we are bare bones and soon we'll be down to the marrow.

It is possible that very young players can give a good account of themselves for a number of games, but for them to perform well over a long hard physical season is asking a lot , and also possibly putting their heallth and fitness at serious threat, Its one thing blooding youngsters gradually if they're deemed good enough, but Quite another, if they are played out of desperation, these young lads are a long way from maturity, and should not be subjected to the rigours of championship Football on a week to week basis..

I can see all the frustration here and I know it's shit but they are keeping the club going (I would love some crazy arab or chinese multi millionaire to come in like every one would) but unfortunatly I just can not see this happening, so were stuck with them, unless they do just pull the plug then there are serious problems.
It is not ideal but while sisu do keep the club going there is still a club to support and they may not sell the young talent we have, this could be there plan to have a team of young players with which to build on (hoping I know but there is hope) as there wages are not going to be exstravagent and over the top, where as you pay crazy money for some player who is only here for the money and not hungry for success at a young age.
(I'll just keep fooling myself but thats the way I need to see it i'm afraid).

No choice though Tankie but there are some players still to come back from injury so they can get a rest.
What I am trying to say is people getting onto players backs like ROD for example is not going to help one bit, but they may pull together as a team who will give there all for each other and your right it will not do them any good week in week out (the young kids) playing the rigours of championship football but it won't do any harm either having them playing every now and again and supporting each other on and off the pitch instead of having a few prima donnas about the place who think there above the others.
