If SISU accepted a deal from ACL of 400k rent and some access to F & B streams as has been mentioned and returned to the Ricoh to play for the next 3 seasons while they built a new stadium in the Coventry area, having not been trusted enough to offer any ownership of the Ricoh, would you be happy?

Is that acceptable to ACL? If not what would be acceptable to ACL? How far would you want our football club to be 'tied' to ACL demands and wants if they refuse to let you have any of the ownership?

I'd be much happier than now, but I'm not sure I can support the club under SISU anymore, at the beginning of the year I'd have been happy with them buying the Ricoh but no longer.

It would be a start.

It would be a start, but I wonder, if after all that has been said and done over the last few months, if they were forced to play at the Ricoh, would it make their ownership of the club almost untenable ? I think the deal would be on the understanding that SISU will never own all or part of the stadium.

I doubt any deal would be done while Fisher was still CEO, or unless the Judicial Review was dropped.

It wont happen. They simply have no interest in giving ACL 1p

In order to find out what would be acceptable to ACL who seem keen to do a deal, SISU will need to return to the negotiating table, so why doesn't SISU accept the offer by the FL to stage a meeting between the parties?

No. I don't want a poxy stadium outside Coventry and L1 ambition only.
Ricoh and PL are my aspirations or I'll walk away.

The problem is we know that people want to buy the club and the Ricoh as a package. SISU would rather liquidate than allow that.

Sisu have burnt their boats.
Clear they have no interest or respect for club, fans or tradition.
They had no trust from the Council and now they have none with the fanbase.
They have to go, one day they will.

I'd be happier, but still think it crazy to attempt to build another stadium when we already have a perfectly good one here.

Things have gone too far for that.

SISU come back to the Ricoh & negotiate a modified long term rental agreement or the Arena has to find its own way of surviving.

I'm coming more & more to the opinion that SISU view the club as a franchise to be moved as they wish.. and are bullying a weak and ineffectual FL into letting it happen.

If they wanted to liquidate they would have done so by now. They want some investment back and will strive to get it before leaving. Why can't anyone see that? ACL need to be much more open to ideas than they have been. So far they forced admin, ending promotion hopes, now according to some will force -15 points by not signing a CVA? Who the bloody hell trust ACL motives anymore than SISU?!!

You really have a selective memory we had no chance of promotion before the ten points were deducted but I suppose the truth isn't important

I beg to differ on the promotion issue. But am I being selective about the rest? or just factual?

Personally, I think SISU forced the Administration by not paying the rent and not negotiating in good faith. At the point ACL went for the admin order we were very unlikely to hit the play offs given the points total we required, our form, and the number of clubs above us.

ACL haven't lumbered the club with £60m debts, and been continually caught in half-truths ("there is no debt"), flat out lies (" all creditors will be paid in full"), and the utter pretence that moving the club to Northampton and building a new stadium will somehow solve the club's problems.

It's clear now from all of the evidence that SISU have had one agenda for a long time, distress ACL and get the Ricoh for next to nothing. To blame ACL for the place where we are now seems strange to me - I most definitely trust them more than SISU. Frankly, I'd trust anyone more than SISU.

They are only going to lose more money. If they go now they will prevent further losses. Top of cycle for them i'm afraid.
I didn't say they wanted to liquidate, I said that rather than give it to someone who wants to put money in they would sooner do that. Spite ?
Promotion was long over

Youre wrong about the promotion but we will leave that.
Yes they want to make money on their investment but what is their investment
or
They use us for tax purposes
Acl have made concessions are they willing to make more? Well unless Sisu agree to talk we wont know will we?
One question for you
Sisu have said that if Acl agree tomorrow to the CVA then they may talk not promising anything. If Acl do accept it and Sisu dont talk or ask for stupid terms will you still be so supportive of Sisu. Before you reply think carefully because I for one dont fall for the comments that I support the club not sisu etc etc.
One more thing remind me of our points total, position in the league vis a vie the other clubs that got into the playoffs

You haven't a leg to stand on Paxman.
Your credibility as a rational cognitively functioning Bloke is looking thin. I'd just shut it.
