Anyone else just losing interest?

Last time i felt like this was the L1 relegation side. That was full of shiit players, which we i suppose had to accept

This squad on paper isn't shit. However, they are spineless, wimpy, mentally weak characters. And i don't abide that in our team

We can all take being shit, but seeing 11 men fighting for the shirt that represents us, putting bodies on the line, running until they drop etc gets us behind them

This lot don't. This lot are playing below 100% effort. This lot aren't giving their all. This lot just do not seem to care. As we've seen with them laughing with the opposition after losing or conceding, multiple times may i add

They don't deserve those of you who travel hundreds of miles to support them, put your hard earned cash into them, as well as your time, and i really feel for those of you who get served up this shite all the time

I knew once Norwich got 1 they'd get 2, I even said it to my lad next to me. You just know with this rabble that it would happen

This window HAS to be right. We HAVE to bring in experience, we HAVE to bring in midfield and defensive quality or i fear we will be in deep trouble

Watching the players find it funny to laugh with the opposition after that.

Needs the basics of respect and effort.

No and frankly when you’ve been to Norwich in the 80’s for a nil nil draw in the freezing cold and slept on Ely station as the trains were shut down with only a handful of away fans this is like heaven

I do agree with your post but we were literally 3 minutes away from beating a bogey playoff chasing side 1-0. As gutting as it is it really isn’t that bad. Today I mean. The timing of the goals will annoy fans but Norwich did enough to at least get a draw. Fans will also blame BTA for wasting that chance but they hit the bar and countless chances first half. Not to mention the sitter Allen gave them.

We can’t achieve playoffs this season so today winning wouldn’t have changed that for me. We are better getting out all the shit and bad luck this season and with signings being better prepared next season. We don’t want a relegation fight which with haji and EMC to come back I don’t think we will. And as you say the teams at the bottom are really crap.

Not disagreeing with your points but I don’t believe there will be significant transfer activity in January.

I fear the club will just paper over the cracks and wait for the end of the season.

@Saddlebrains . Whoever your contact is in the club.

Tell them to fucking discipline both Lati and Eccles for laughing with the oppo literally seconds after bottling a league.

Both horrible horrible players who need bomb squadding

Yup I feel the same. If this window doesn't go well, and If we lose mve and ahead, and then don't recruit to replace them, and then don't bolster the squad, it's going to be a seriously long season

If Lati doesn't do what he does then we come away with a respectable point but frankly I don't allow for that as an excuse, like Robins before him Lampard should recognise that players like that should be in the bomb squad rather than on the football pitch. I hope he has recognized this and recrifies it ASAP.

Lampard should be fuming with that. He should have 2 footed lati in front of the fans while he was laughing with their player.

Unlike the OP, I have no contacts at all inside the club but I suspect Sheaf is already “gone” in terms of CCFC being prepared to do a deal. I have no idea about MVE, although a Turkish colleague says the interest is real.

My concern is that King won’t want to buy during January and loans will just be a short term measure to save the season.

Delighted if I am wrong

I wonder if King realises how many season ticket holders we’re going to lose this summer and whether he has a plan to combat it.

You have to go through the shit to really appreciate the good times.
We had 6 or years of progress, which is something not many clubs will experience, things have stalled, but we'll get there again.
Just got to take shit like today on the chin.

Yeah I feel exactly the same, so disconnected with the group of players and the club currently.

Problem is I don’t know if it’s just that or football in general now. I have other hobbies I really enjoy that I’ve put to the wayside with the last 30+ years supporting the club and really think this year will be the last for me getting a season ticket.

I think it’s just the feeling of nothing that makes me feel like that, like I don’t care massively for any result of ours win, lose or draw.

Hope the feeling comes back with some time away from it next year, distance makes the heart grow fonder as they say!

Think we just need to see the season out and regroup, not just the team but the whole club, fanbase included.
Make some interesting signings, make a positive start and come together again.

We’ve been through way worse and I’ve been to many a game where it felt like I was just going for routine rather than pleasure/excitement etc.

So I’m still arsed but that connection between fans/clubs/players is absolutely dwindling.

Just fuming after today.... Like you, knew it was coming - watching their winner and how it came about makes it even more frustrating.
Shite X2 from JL - surely someone else could have put their body on the line too.

Also, both boys into CCFC - 9 and 6.... The six year old is swaying as he says he gets sad now because we lose all the time!!... And has his Mum, Grandparents and cousins in his ear as WBA fans.

Would really like to see Prem footy with them and my Dad (again -74 now...) our once in a generation chance went with Dabo's penalty miss - I know football and the type of club CCFC is - so knew it was a once in a generation chance - struggled to get out of bed for three days...

The players that got my boys into CCFC, Vik, Gus, COH, Super Matty Godden, their heroes - the songs they used to sing as 4 and six year olds.
.. all gone.... With nothing like it again....

Remember that Sky piece - around the play-off final time... "A club banished from its own city, back on the up etc "..... All gone......
