Maybe you should block all people who disagree with you. You could then sit in splendour knowing that you are right on everything and everyone agrees with you on that. That must be really enjoyable for you.

No don is just a harmless WUM. You and your type have no place on this forum. I won't be ignoring you.

Have they?

Or are they simply "exploring their options"? As per last week's article.

Well, we've got the journalist who has the most experience with this story – who was regularly reporting from Appleton during the administration – now moving the reporting on from 'exploring options' to 'have expressed an interest' so I think you've missed the boat again.

He beat you to the punch with the council vote result too if we're keeping score

The council vote where 14 of labour councillor were going to vote against yet not only did none do so but the entire opposition also voted unanimously in favour.

It's easy to be first off the mark when you aren't worried about making sure what you say is accurate.

Oh, are you in charge of forum membership vetting? Which type has a place on this forum? Does one have to agree with you on everything? Genuine question.

The article didn't say he was going to huddersfield did it? didn't it say huddersfield would be interested "expected to target him"? I don't think we have any evidence either way on that.

But again as I've already said to Torch who used the exact same example it wasn't a defence of the telegraph but a criticism of Les Reid. I have plenty of issues with the telegraphs Coverage, not with the specific journalists though, I think Simon works bloody hard,

I was showing my allegiance - sometimes in difficult circumstances ;-) in the 70's and early 80's - a long time before some on here. Even got arrested in West Brom - for helping CCFC fans who had been wrongly pulled out by the cops. They got away and I got booked - I still am in my own way over here. My customers are well aware of who I support. Pictures, scarfs and even the dart board in the pub are CCFC and Cov. I managed to get a ticket for Wembley in 87 ( not easy from here. There was no internet then ). All my costs were covered by bets I made with Londoners before the game in a pub where I had worked before. Treated everyone in the pub to champagne after the game ( from a case of 6 bottles which I bought in advance - I believed in City ). Believing that SISU mishandled the situation doesn't make me not loyal to CCFC and I am no less worthy of being a city fan than you.

I am not detached. I am following this with more emotion than you maybe understand. City was my youth. To take my favourite team drag it to the third division, blackmail my home town and spout on about moving the club to a small town or village nearby in a smaller stadium - takes something from me. My memories, my passion, being with my mates - these memories are from my youth and mean something to me. It is as if someone is stealing a family heirloom. Quite frankly I am not really interested in the council or Wasps or Wasps fans - I am interested in CCFC having a future in Cov - be it with Wasps together. The main thing is we have the use of a stadium in Cov and big enough to achieve our goal - PL. Anything less than that is a betrayal.

Not so much detached, it is usually his parting shot with things like WUM, etc when losing a battle.

He has used it many times I find it weak and frankly inappropriate.

Though I don't agree with everything Grendel says, I have no doubts that he's a real, wholehearted Cov fan. I'd much rather have a beer with him than many of the 'unbiased' idiots that plague this site.

You're welcome ,I'd have a beer with Grendel too as I would with anyone who Is a sky Blue supporter .

I'd wager Grendel is a different person in the flesh and It's the ether that brings about his nature on here .

My only issue is he slated me saying,
'You never get your facts right'. For example you said Wasps got a good attendance the couple of times they played at the Ricoh.
This is an example of how you can't be taken seriously as you quote facts as facts. That are not facts. They only played at the Ricoh once.

I pointed out to Him/Her that they have played there twice and asked for an apology?

Silence

Followed by silence

Followed by myself getting set in the the ignore list

So lets is right, if you are winning an argument. He/she tries to change the subject.
If you don't let him/her change it you are a wum.
If that don't work ..... Ignore list .....

Don't worry buddy I humiliated him, where he got something embarrassingly wrong. Whilst attacking me, so I asked for an apology, in a pee taking way.
I don't think he/she likes getting shown up...

I have offered several times to take him to an away game. He will carry on with the threads but never reply to the offers. I know that he is a supporter and not a WUM, but his one sided thoughts and views certainly make him look like a WUM. He says that he hates the council and takes the piss out of anyone who works for them.

I would happily have a few beers with him. I would happily have a few beers with any Cov supporter. I will talk politics if you like. And being stuck in a car with someone for a few hours would give you plenty chance to air your views.

So Grendel I am coming down for the Port Vale game. Even passing Stoke to get to Coventry. Would you like to join a few of us for the day? Happy to drive to Stoke if you don't like mixing with the riffraff on the coaches

Yes but the incident I was describing didn't happen at three am and he choose to put someone on ignore rather than admit that he was wrong. Which he quite often is and can never ever admit. It's quite funny

You're both as horrendously bad as each other. He's ducking questions, you're calling everyone you don't like Grendel and taunting him at 3am.

Either get a room or a restraining order.
