I've said it once and I'll say it again. JS has 'USED' Les Reid as a messenger to spread her propaganda. Its a blatant attempt to influence some of the wavering fans that she has the best interest of the club.

Well judging from most peoples responses, its backfired big time & Les is a small time newspaper reporter who's trying to make a name for himself and has jumped into bed with the devil (metaphorically of course).

What this interview says to me is that #NOPM is working.

Get real. If she'd offered the trust an exclusive they'd have been salivating. Schmee would be announcing it to the world and the kcic would have huge reservations but still watched from outside the meeting room.

If the prospect of a rental arrangement at the Ricoh really is dead, then it will be interesting to see how some react. Given that we all want a return to Coventry (and most would accept Warwick Uni in principle - this is just an example), what motivation would city fans have in objecting to it? Surely it would just prolong the exile. I understand that some people still think they can be pressured into a return, but I feel that this just isn't going to happen, so increasingly (to me at least) it looks like a new stadium or nothing.

You're probably right re NOPM ferret. While financially she said she would fund the club, staying away or demonstrating will still have some negative PR for SISU. Plus, morally, seems the right thing to do unless we go back to Cov.

It says the complete opposite to me, I think the interview says NOPM is working and a lot faster than I thought it would.

She's not going to admit that SISU are feeling the pinch is she?

Of course it is, it's PR. That's the whole point.

What this interview says to me is that nopm has little chance of succeeding. Did she come across as the sort of person likely to cave in to pressure?

it doesn't really say anything to me other than they are changing their rhetoric, we could debate the reason's for that for weeks. i pray its because NOPM is working, not that i would ever expect shitsu confirm that. with regards to her being the sort person to cave in, no she isn't. her investors on the other hand, maybe. so it is possible that NOPM is affecting her indirectly bringing on the change of rhetoric.

I concede the final point. Ultimately, it isn't her money she is playing with.

@ The Bear....To set the record straight...I've followed Les Reid for quite a while, and found him to be in the main, a constructive, and informative reporter. However, I think he's let down the majority of CCFC fans by NOT asking the question, which TF (Detoured around) at the Fans Forum. Perhaps you could start with that question mate. I personally think the answer could either change the minds of, or steel the minds of fans, depending what side of the fence you sit!

chiefdave....the point would be if we're going to end up in exactly the same situation why not just stay at the Ricoh? moving away, losing fans and causing all the associated grief there has been is pointless from the clubs perspective if we end up in a new ground we don't own. If there's a clear business case showing the move would benefit the club then great, lets move, however if there isn't, or it's only going to benefit SISU, why bother?>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>My point exactly!

@Torchy...............................I said, "I personally think the answer could either change the minds of, or steel the minds of fans, depending what side of the fence you sit!"...If you look at a previous post of mine(That's if you read it properly) IF CCFC OWN the "new ground" and NOT rent it off SISU, I WOULD BE WILLING TO GIVE SISU A CHANCE....Try looking at what I've said instead of "Immediately putting it down"
