So no player offered a contract at the magnificant Ricoh would contemplate signing up at shitsfields? Come on RB wake up I think Ron and tony have seen the light and scuttled away.

Everyone knows all your favourite ex players ended up there, did they leave when your best mate Thorn was in charge?

Sorry? The argument little chap is that players will be influenced by the quality of stadium - now as many have said the Ricoh is a Premier League ground. So on that basis I assume players would never leave would they?

Do you tony think for example a player would leave the splendour of the Ricoh and ply his trade in shitsfields if he had a choice?
Of course they would leave if other factors came into play ie. pay, length of contract etc. Just accept that SP will have a problem in attracting players because of our position. Stating otherwise is simply being a prick.

As long as they were prepared to be called a greedy bastard by some, then they'd be off like a shot.

Alex Nimely anyone?
Danny Haynes
Martyn Waghorn
Schlupp
Poleon
Jon Stead
Craig Davies
Matty Fryatt

Players that could be available, other than that we could be looking at premier league loans. What about Southampton? Gotta be a few good players coming through there that we could get on loan.

It would have to be a substantially better contract for the greedy player to choose the small club.

So you are saying playing at shitsfields isn't a factor at all as no player would leave a club for less money, no signing on fee or indeed a shorter contract. If someone offered a longer contract, more money and/or a signing on fee they would be banging on Fishers door.

Well done little tony at long last you've seen the wood from the trees - or should I say Tree.

I'd rather we played with 10 than get Jon Stead in.

What are you on about you obnoxious little person? You argue so much with so many people that I doubt even you know what your true position is. How did the vote go? I assume tht since you are still here it went in your favour?

He did well in the vote that he asked for. A whole 32% don't think he is a WUM.

And you seem to think you know more than Martin O'Neil about signing players.

Also why do you have to resort to insulting people? I've just tried to have a reasonable debate with you, I've not insulted you so why do it to me?

If you don't agree with someone then just debate the issue, no need for anything else.

Platt told the club's official website: "I'm excited about what I have seen after only one day at the club.

"The chairman's vision is something I very much want to be a part of.

"Obviously I know the manager very well and his enthusiasm rubs off any player, no matter their age.

"What I have seen in and around the club, and from the first training session, has impressed me enormously. I'm excited by this challenge and I look forward to being involved as soon as possible."

Great shout! Stead has experience, Nimely is more of a goal creator than goal scorer and I think we need a scorer right now. Waghorn and Haynes would both be great

A shit one because he is shit and would have been warming the bench up. Oh for the times when we had a striker to warm the bench up. And he went to play for a manager that liked his attributes.

Astute, Cochese exposed you earlier. You have lost this one as well, your one eyed myopia is getting the better of you.

You used to be good. You're better than this.

Yea would probably have a few championship clubs ahead of us.

Craig Davies would be a good choice I think, was always fairly impressed with him in a poor Barnsley side. Dropped down the pecking order at Bolton, think he could be decent in league 1. His career has similarities with Mcgoldrick and Clarke in terms of there scoring records, showing promise at times and struggling at other clubs.

Haha, surprised Grenduffy is still banging on about this. Did anyone say size of stadium is the ONLY factor a player considers when moving? No?! Then what is he on about?!

Clearly it's a mixture of factors. All people are trying to say is that it's a factor - Grendel seems to have moved the goalposts. If you're losing a debate, change topic ASAP.

WUM.

Can't find anything saying this, he's been on loan with them the first half of the season. Think he's back at Leicester now, I know Lomas was keen on signing him but maybe Holloway doesn't rate him?

Fraytt scored for Hull the other day I believe. I can't see him dropping to League 1.

Nimely I'd be really pleased with

One factor that does not come into a players thinking at all is where he plays. Why are you backtracking?

More disturbingly why are you adopted a vile racist thug as your avatar?

Who exactly do you think my avatar is?!

People sticking to the topic isn't backtracking, it's sticking to the topic...

Everyone knows the ground does play a part - someone even provided you with a Martin O'Neill quote.

Are you alright?
