Really interesting link on Leon Mckenzie discussing his suicide attempt. He had a wife and 3 kids, crazy what people are able to hide especially in a stressful situation such as being a footballer.

Poor guy. From the stands I guess most people think it's easy. On a different note I was looking through lists of past City players and hadn't realised that Regis Geneaux died a few years back at the age of 35 (of an embolism).

I liked Leon Mckenzie, had obvious skill but was unlucky with injury. Since Cov he got into trouble a bit.

Agreed it's obviously not always a bed of roses (especially if you play for Cov), but hardly stressful.

Depression's a mental illness though. Your job doesn't matter.
