Would he be a good back up for Godden? Fallen in the pecking order at Sheff.Utd, getting rid by mutual consent. He is older now but still very fit obviously, and at this level surely worth a half season shout to have in the camp?

Get him in a short term deal with add ons if we go up! I know we can’t afford him and no doubt others will come in for him.
We can dream!

Yes - 77 in 160 games. Near enough a 1 in 2 rate at this level

Perspective needed....
He's 35 in a couple of weeks and is being released by Sheff.Utd.
No longer of interest to many clubs other than league 1 maybe on a short term deal?

I’m pretty sure he’ll be of interest to the likes of Wigan, Luton and Barnsley

He went to Wigan on loan last season and didn't score much, I think he's past it at that level but maybe still useful at ours. I think strikers decline pretty rapidly but then again he was never about pace more just a knack of being in the right place.

If he dropped to this level i think people like Sunderland/Ipswich would have the bigger cheque book
