Signed no one, lost their goalie, completely ostracised Fofana and now Chelsea have decided they don’t want to pay £80m for him

Has their bubble burst? Hopefully anyway

I think Schmeichel is a massive loss for them, I don’t think their current first team keeper Ward is that good. It could be a really tough season ahead.

Baffling they agreed to let Schmeichel go with no replacement lined up

It’s lovely seeing that club have a wobble… one of the few pleasures to life here over in Leicestershire

A long way from being in serious danger though and even if they did somehow go down their Thai billionaires would sign all the cheques to get them right back up. They are the Newcastle to our Sunderland

Their Thai billionaires aren’t having it all their own way at the moment, their industry is duty free and the travel industry has obviously been decimated for a good few years, particularly in Asia

They haven’t signed anyone for a reason

£100 million a year from TV alone not enough?

Not necessarily how it works, there would be no reason for any club to have a benefactor in the Premier League if it was

Like someone said Leicester are having a wobble, a lot of their good players want out, they’ve banked on being a permanent fixture in European Football every season and they aren’t - Hence why they are reigning in on the spending in my opinion

If the rumours around him and Newcastle are true then I think it would be an excellent fit and a very good time for both them and him to make the move.

It’s still usually enough for a few signings when combined with their other income sources. Still maintain they aren’t in any serious danger yet.

Will see, has an aura of Leeds in the early 2000s about it in my opinion

Rodger’s will be out of a job soon enough anyway I think that is close to being certain

They’ll get what they want or close to it for Fofana and Maddison and that’ll give them what they need to re-strengthen.

I agree. Also potentially the late owner's family not having the same passion to sink money in, too.

Could be a little bit late in the window and teams will know they are desperate so will ask for more.

A strong goalkeeper won’t cost too much and the lure of PL football is usually enough for the kind of targets they go for.
