To be honest I don't give a single shiny one. 3 points, TTFN Incester, won't miss playing you next season. Onwards and upwards.

Is Grimes just knackered? Would be pretty understandable really, we ask a lot of him and has he even missed a minute in the league?

He's just had two weeks off ?

Grimes was ok
They flooded midfield and over ran him , particularly 1st half but he still showed for the ball at every opportunity and his passing was fine

Yes. Rushworth great. The handling for the Fatawu save was exceptional.

Yeah, he wasn't as commanding as he was earlier in the season, but he didn't have a bad game I don't think. Two bad mistakes, but the rest of his game was okay .

He may be playing with a bit of a knock and I do think opposition teams are now targeting him and giving him less time on the ball than previously.

As much as we moan about the CBs , granted roday they werent great at times .

Our fullbacks getting so high often cause us far more problems than anything our CBs do.

But its how we play ,.its high risk

I saw McAnuff going over this and pulled up quite a few examples of us getting caught out by our fullbacks being high up. It was a decent little piece actually.

Incredible excuse making for Grimes after he spent the first half not tracking runners from midfield then nearly gifted Leicester a goal by sliding in on Fatawu 35 yards out in the 2nd.

I thought yesterday was far and away his worst performance for the club. His and Torps lack of defensive ability was brutally exposed in the 1H yesterday.

He made some big individual errors too mind.
I reckon he played a big part for their goal…he didn’t have a clue where his player was.
So wasn’t picking up either Decordova-Reid or James.
The lunge he made was rubbish and one or two miss placed passes caused us problems.
Also out muscled at times.

He’s got plenty of credit in the bank.

People talk about Grimes being fatigued but on yesterday’s showing (after more than two weeks without a game), I think it’s clear his struggles are more down to tactics and how the opposition sets up than him being exhausted.

How the opposition are setting up against him, for sure, I would say. Earlier in the season he was getting so much more time on the ball.

Don’t think Grimes was as much of an issue as Torp was. But the way we played first half we’re basically asking Grimes and Torp to cover midfield and right and left back so that we can indulge Dasilva and Van Ewijk. Once you give a free role to Rudoni the space to cover becomes even bigger. Credit to Lampard, he changed that second half and we dominated.

Definately, Leicester had done their home work and did a job on us early on. It wasn’t players being poor, it was the system that exposed them. Leicester played in the pockets and played around us. Their passing tempo was also key.

We sorted it to a degree and got to half time. We then had a tactical reset and it was game on.

Got beaten at his near post for the goal, which is becoming a bad habit.

Made a couple of routine stops which you'd expect, and held on well to a shot that was hit straight at him.
No idea where all the 8's and 9's are coming from.

I don't think it was hi fault for their goal, it was taken very quick and hd didn't really have time to react

If we are promoted I don't think it will be for the lack of trying

I agree but I think it's down to tiredness in this relentless league.

We need KKH back from injury asap so that we can rotate.
