On the foxestalk forum, some Leicester fans have been buying tickets in your end....not surprising really with the demand for tickets from our end.

Nice tbh, I don't understand why you were only given 3k. The away stand holds 5k+ and you have bought that in the past. Club probably didn't want to give your team too much encouragement with all the fans.

Surely that has made it worse by not giving a thought on segregation, its no secret Leicester are splashing the cash and the fans have the good feel factor again so interest in the club is going to be high.

I think Coventry City and the powers that be have messed up here,i can remember games in the eighties and nineties were Leicester fans were in your end and it all kicked off.

Did they not give that a thought?

They'll be easy enough to spot what with the sloping brow, red neck and one eyebrow. And the way they pronounce all words ending in e or y as "-eh"

I hate this though..I always end up giving away fans in our end absolute hell. I don't want to, just can't help myself once the game gets going, especially if they openly cheer and jeer etc. This isn't reserved for Leicester fans, I just can't stand away fans in our section. Unless it's non-league, in which case it's fun and matey. Leam-Boro game aside.

I thought another 3K had been allocated, so why buy tickets in the home, makes no sense and they will get ejected, so money for nothing

Anyway like i said in a previous post,

If there was 6 or 6,000 Leicester fans there, the noise volume would be no different. I have quite frankly been disgusted with Leiceter's support away at the Ricoh the last couple of years and flicking through their fans forum they think the same thing. Sometimes it can be a bit daunting if you hear a teams sold there 6,000 allocation at the Ricoh for example Leeds last year as you know you have a hell of a battle in B15 to "out sing" them, But at the Ricoh when at Leicester arrive it just doesn't happen they say are fans dress as plastic seats but i think it's more a case of our plastic seats dressing as their fans.

No noise from the Leicester boys........

Interesting.

For all of my families sins, two of my brothers are Fester fans. At least they have the correct amount of fingers and toes. Each season we take it in turns of which end we go in. This season we will be in with the Fester fans I will be singing my heart out as usual though. If you go over the top you get thrown out, but it has never happened to us so far. Sometimes I go in the home fans at away games. Depends who I know and who they support. For instance, a fair few years ago against Grimsby away, about xmas/new year I was in away end. My family and friends were looking for me in away end whilst freezing. They saw me whilst celebrating our goal. I then got a tap on my shoulder. When I turned around I found it to be an oldish woman. There was a row of them behind me. She said they were all from Cov, but were too scared to celebrate.

Make trouble you get kicked out. Go with the flow and you should be OK.

Compared to Leicester's famous anthem of "Lestuuuur, Lestuuur, Lestuur, Lestuuur, Lestuuur, Lestuuur, Lestuuur, Lestuuur, Lestuuur!" The whole two times I heard you sing last season at our place it was that song. You have to admit whilst leicester, at the moment, are pulling in more fans than Cov they're shite at getting behing their team. And thats from a non-bias view of your support because I really don't hate/paticularlly care about Leicester.

Haha thought as much and the reason i posted it was the Leicester fans on a previous thread tried claiming that it wasn't just them that don't sing during our games. And that just happened to be the first video that came up on the old YouTube "Coventry vs Leicester" search and yeah i know what you mean mate but i've got a feeling with our 13 year old wrecking crew in B15 you'll be spending alot of time in the bar.

In a lot of ways you are right, and i blame the changing of the ground for this....in the old Filbert street and the old Highfield road the atmosphere's were great.

These new stadiums are a big let down, odd times at the Walkers the atmosphere is o'k....though it does not feel the same as Filbert Street.

I'll agree with you there, never visited Filbert Street but the ricoh is not a patch on Highfield Road. It's damaged the club beyond repair if you ask me, I know way too many people who used to be regulars but stopped once we moved to Bedworth.

But attendances are higher now than they were at HR. We regularly got 12/13k fans in the premiership at HR.

If the move to the ricoh has killed the club in any way it's the rent we have to pay to play there, not falling crowd numbers.

So we should have expanded Highfiel Road, the only reason attendances rose is because of the novelty of having a new stadium now that's over we have just about settled at what we were at before. Plus whilst I realise HR wasn't exactly a cauldron of noise it was a lot better than the ricoh

We are stupid and dont really understand how to run a football club so no. Don't worry we will react on this years trouble at next years fixture, we are a reactive lot you see.
