It’s unfortunate for EMC but it’s an opportunity for someone else.
Don’t shuffle the team around give the opportunity to Brau. We know he crosses the ball well and has a decent shot.
Why not.

Doubt it will happen but if EMC out Simms through the middle , Wright left. BTA bench. Round pegs in round holes and all that. Would just have to hope that Simms steps up.

For a game like this and if you were manager would you play Simms? Unfortunately these days he never looks like scoring so why give Fester a helping hand?

Yes I would start him. BTA on the left is a bigger downside than Simms at CF in my opinion

For some reason he appears to be more effective on the right

He had all last season to do that! Nevertheless we just can't afford to carry him, I think he's more likely to get sub appearances like last week than to start at the moment.

Remember Simms’ early second half half volley here last time? Hilarious.

My worry is the bench. Not much in the way of attacking threat on there.

The pretending not to care from both sides is very odd. I think both teams can acknowledge that it’s a rivalry of convenience/circumstance rather than some kind of bitter feud, but it makes things more interesting and it’s fun to embrace it.

Agreed bench looks very poor offensively. I find the decision to loan out Rapha weird still. At least he was an option along the forward line. One injury and this is where we end up.

Can’t say I’m feeling particularly confident. Very little on the bench to change the game and Mason Clarke will be a miss to how we’ve tried to play this season. Not sure BTA can replicate what he brings to the team.

We wouldn’t have let him go if we had any confidence in his ability to be a difference maker this season.

Probably a better option from the bench than Perry though for games like today.

As others have said, not much on the bench.

I still don't really understand the Raphael loan. He's a better option off the bench than Perry or Andrews.

Edit: I see this has been covered too!
