The problem Leicester have with Monga is that he hasn't actually signed a pro deal with them yet and part of the reason he was fast tracked into their first team was to avoid losing him to someone like Man City. That was insight given to me by some Leicester STH.
Funnily enough, the guy seems to know George Shepard's dad or something because he told me a) Man U were interested and b) he'd sign a pro contract at Cov before both pieces of news broke. Frankly, I took it with a pinch of salt.
And they wouldn’t be doing it if they had the cash to pay. So I suspect they are heavily reliant on January player sales to afford Dec salary payments (paid late) and to get through the remainder of the season.I mean this is better than not getting paid at all but still completely unacceptable, what a shit thing to happen to people at this time of year
It's a coincidence I think, without prying into the details... It sounds like playground talk amongst parent(s) which is why I took it with a pinch of salt.Perhaps we should turn your Leicester mate into one of our very own ITK's . He seems to know more than our lot.
Is that not just a gentleman's agreement? You can't sign a pro contract until you turn 17 so he probably could go to someone else on the cheap.Monga's youth deal apparently automatically turns in to a pro deal in July 2026 so Leicester are pretty secure all things considered.
He's a chip they categorically won't want to cash in though unless things are looking glummer than they already are.

Anyone got any updates on when Leicester's points deduction hearing will take place
No excuse for not paying nonplaying staff. One player's wages would most likely cover the lot. Be much better paying all of them and then paying the players 90% with them deferring 10% to receive something like after a player sale in Jan or after season ticket sales. Really odd way to operate and knowing the news it would cause too.
In fact if i was one of the players, who are most likely all millionaires, I'd have them clubbing together to make sure the staff got paid. At a time when the fans are against them it would show an 'all in it together' mentality and help unite them.
Didn't realise that, fair play to them. Especially when a lot of those are only more junior or lesser paid. Leicester have players with Premiership wages so small beer to them.Wednesday players did something akin to this.
I don't think the current crop at Leicester are that way inclined from what I've heard.
Reading their forum, it sounds like they've changed the payment date for wages to the last day of the month to bring in line with the rest of the company group.
The anger is because they were given 24 hours notice rather than being told weeks ago.

Three PSR charges have all been heard now. Verdict to be delivered late this year or very early next.I believe the first of the two is either ongoing or finished, just waiting the verdict if it's the latter.
Genuine yes. But when the vast majority of comments are like what we had off them during our dark days and what the vast majority of the comments we still get from them are I struggle to have any kind of affinity with them.I feel sorry for their genuine fans. I can't believe fans of football would want another teams fans to suffer like we have

that's the spiritCheating cunts. Let the club rot.
They'll get away with the minimum deductions after appeals. The appeals will likely last past the end of this season, so no deductions this. Would be A Typical that they sneak into the Play Offs and get promoted, meaning any deductions next season means very little against the money they make via promotion.
Fuck ‘em. Loads of their fans would have been happy for us to have gone out of business.I feel sorry for their genuine fans. I can't believe fans of football would want another teams fans to suffer like we have
Tough one that!I feel sorry for their genuine fans. I can't believe fans of football would want another teams fans to suffer like we have
Even if they do appeal it won't take long for the case to be reviewed and for a decision to be made. Pretty sure Forest's appeal only took around a month / 6 weeks. The points deduction, whatever that looks like, will be imposed this season.
And fairly sure Evertons deduction was, applied straight away and a couple of point returned following appeal.

I presume you're on the wind up, but they wouldn't be suffering like we did.I feel sorry for their genuine fans. I can't believe fans of football would want another teams fans to suffer like we have
