I thought the former players were well represented on Saturday.

The EON Lounge was absolutely packed to the rafters with people up there. Got myself a few signatures in my programme too.

Anyone else have the legends experience?

Yes.

Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Chatting to Chris Cattlin, Ernie Hunt, Willie Carr, Noel Whelan, Marcus Hall, Terry Yorath and Dennis Mortimer. All very friendly guys.

They were all down in the casino after the game. Everyone sang the sky blue song and Ernie Hunt sang Moon River - I kid you not.

Whelan actually turned up in the end then did he? He wasn't on the stage unless i was even more drunk than Ernie Hunt. Which is possible...

I think Whelan left before the stage stuff, he was definitely there earlier though.

I left at 6 and Whelan had gone before then. He parked next to me and his car was gone.

I missed Saturday because I was on a golfing weekend down Devon. But I was playing with Mick Coop, so I guess that is stilt a Legends experience?

Noel was there on Sat. My son asked if he could drop into Singers bar to wish me a happy birthday which he duly did. Along with the result it made my day.

It was quality. Many thanks to all who arranged the day...worth every penny, with the result rounding off a perfect day!

The Legends were just that...legends. All of them agreed to every photo and signature request.

As I've said before, Terry Yorath, who was announced as the newest member, was fantastic...as was Claus Jorgensen and John Williams. Noel Whelan, who I previously thought was a dickhead, was in fact really good fun and a top bloke.

Definitely going again next year!
