It is legends day on Saturday.
City are asking everyone to wear there old sky Blue tops.

hey Want everyone to wear their favourite top.

Unfortunately I don't have it any more but just the plain old Sky Blue was my favourite will have to have a mooch around and dig out another one instead.

Just wondered which one was other posters favourite tops?

Then again still have the old Green and Black stripped one somewhere

I loved the old green and black striped top - reminds me of when I first started going.

Still annoyed that we won the cup in our worst ever kit.

Hate blue and white stripes.

87-89 kit has always been my favourite - Speedo at his finest.

1889, first time we wore Sky Blue, Man City first wore all Sky Blue 5 or 6 years later. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it MOTD!! We are the Sky Blues and they are The Citizens....

Ok so they wore a sky blue white halfed kit a year later but we still win.

I think the one we had a few seasons back based on the 1960s one is the best modern kit we've ever had.

I don't think I can wear any of my old shirts as I have them away as they had on the back Dublin,Boateng,Hadji and then to top it off Hughes.

Either the blue and dark blue stripes with the CCFC badge in the background, mostly for the fact it was what we were wearing when times were good, or the 60s style all sky blue kit I think.

Don't know if it's just me, but I'm getting a load of blank Xs instead of kits in LAST's post.

My first kit was the "egg timer"......but my favourite was the "Talbot"......

The last kit I had was the 1987 cup winners kit just before I did my O levels......

IMHO grown men should only wear football kit to actually play football in.......not watch it......I mean, if you watch F1 do you wear a crash helmet?

First kit the full Talbot one in Sky Blue the last one was the one for the last year at HR.

You are correct about grown men in football shirts they wouldn't wear a full kit. Always people who are over weight with the belly poking out of the base of the shirt.

Similar applies to sumo. Long story short, I'm banned from the dojo.

As a youth we used to drive around with crash helmets, merely just to see people's reactions.

The same as driving back from Blackpool with Rodney, Del Boy and Trigger in a Fiesta. People on the motorway didn't know what to think.

I agree though, lots of grown men in a pub wearing footy shirts does kick up a stink!

The "tramline" kit has always been and always will be my favourite. Looked great in red too. And yellow.

Same here, most of mine have Dublin on the back and one with Hughes, if I wear one them with my shirt fully exposed, I'm sure to get a kick in
