Good thread on favourite legend recently but only confined to one favourite.

A tad unfair to younger SBT's but what about legends by decade ???

My choice:

1960's - George Hudson
1970's - Tommy Hutchison
1980's - Cyrille Regis
1990's - Dion Dublin
2000's - Roland Nillson
2010's - Richard Keogh

Couldn't disagree with that list to be honest, would like to slip Ian Gibson in but the "Hud" will always be the man of the 60s, maybe even all time, What a player !!

I would put Nilson into the 90s category and have Big Mo for 2000s.

Although that means the last three biggest legends were defenders... That can't be right!

Pretty much agree with first post! All great choices. There are just so many to choose from though. I'd be here all night changing my mind all the time!

For the 80's , I would put Trevor Peake, but i fully understand your pick of big Cyrille.

Ogrizovic surely? Hardly missed a game from 84 onwards.

As much as I loved George Hudson, my 60's legend has to be George Curtis.

80s 1st Oggy, 2nd Peake, 3rd Cyrille
90s 1st Oggy, 2nd Dion, 3rd McAllister
00s onwards......it saddens me to my core that I can think of none who are fit to lace the boots of any of the above.

Hard to keep Curtis out. Also, players that were not with us long, but to me are legends, like Quinn, Keane and Wise. I feel a bit sorry for our younger fans as they don't know what it is like to have class players to watch for your own side that could change a game by themselves.
